I think it is to save time doing it in the future if he fights Dawson

Agreed, Dawson would be a formality for him, and the only risk he has of losing is down to Dawson not being a credible enough opponent, and he doesn't bother training at all for him!

If you bum **** an opponent in the ring, that counts as an extra win.

The way he struggled with a 43 year old Hopkins and Dawson would be a formality? This aint a 1 dimensional Lacy, a mechanical Kessler, or another old man. This is a 26 year old lion who's 6'3 a natural light heavy who throws punches in bunches with a reach of nearly 77 inches who dominated the now cruiserweight champion of the world.

You best respect his abilities, as your boy calzaghe does with his chicken feathers on.

Reference to the analogy of a young lion challenging the old lions to rule the pack ala what Hopkins said about Pavlik.

Sorry didn't Hopkins beat America's biggest boxing hope into a quivering jelly soon after his comprehensive loss to Calzaghe?

Oh yes, Dawson whose biggest wins are his ''loss'' against old timer Johnson, his mockery of a fight against old man Tarver, and the weight drained Adamek.

Maybe he should rematch Johnson, or maybe he doesn't want another beat down.

Calzaghe would rough him up nicely before Ko'ing him Manfredo style with an unanswered 20 punches.

When will you yanks stop throwing Hype jobs at Joe so he can stop batting them out?

Forget Dawson - Calzaghe still needs to beat Hopkins convincingly. No doubt Joe won't go near him again.

very funny how you refer hopkins to an old man when you are trying to big up Dawson, take a look at Dawson's last 2 opponants and look at the age gap then compare with Joe's age gap with his last 2 opponants.

Also you say Dawson dominated the now cruiserweight champ but you slate Kessler when he is now the supermiddle champ :huh
