Adamek has fought the better opposition then Kessler. Kessler doesnt have a big scalp on his record. Just a bunch of B level guys and club fighters.

Dawson hasn't beaten anyone yet, Yes Adamek was very weight drained, or does that excuse only work when its Yank fighters who lose going down a division? and as for Johnson, a recent poll on here caught the fact most thought Dawson lost, or at the very best got a draw, so that on a wider scale shows Johnson was robbed, and he was if you watch it properly.

Calzaghe has been mooting his retirement for well over a year, the only temptation was people shoving Pavlik under his nose for so long, the moment he lost, Dawson truied to step in, but as he has achieved very little, aside from lose to one old man, and beat one older man, his name being mentioned is farcical, and the one shining light for Anti Calzaghe gangs who can't acknowledge an all time great.

My one hope is Hopkins fights Dawson and takes care of another hype job for Joe, so he can retire in peace.

Manfredo didn't even know where he was in that stoppage, you could see his dumb confused look, he didn't even know his name he had been battered so badly, the shots Calzaghe stung him with did temp brain damage, it was right to be stopped, he couldnt even defend himself.

How come people think dawson will beat calzaghe anyway?
The guy has not yet won a major title in the division and all the current title holders are from europe.

Cortez is based in America, lives in America, has duel nationality, and wears an American flag on his arm.

Calzaghe would have been in his prime, and Ko'ed Hopkins in round 3, hence why Hopkins ducked the fight years ago when Joe said he'd fight him in his own yard, Hopkins isn't stupid, he knew he had one shot, against a shot Calzaghe, and even that he showed he had no chance, hence the massive rounds victories to Joe.

Johnson ducked Calzaghe, Calzaghe had career threatening injuries, Xrays and Doctors proving he was in no state to spar let alone fight, instead of rescheduling, Johnson said he would never fight calzaghe again, then he got beaten up by a lesser name opponent (lets not forget even Woods beat him!), proving again, no one can take on Calzaghe, and they all have a massive element of fear.

Personally I would like Calzaghe to fight Dawson, Pavlik and a few others so I can see his name printed in history with 50 and 0... because if he had the motivation, it would be a definite, not like anyones found a way to beat him is it, unlike all your Ameribums.

Get over the fact Calzaghe is the best and most avoided fighter of his era.

you basically repeated , rather less eloquently ( a feat in itself) the lugubrious reasons you claimed earlier, again overlooking the fact Calzaghe beat Reid with a broken hand, dominated a very good Eubank, whom he KD twice! and teh fact Hopkins ran cowering from a prime Calzaghe.

Johnson refused to reschedule a fight with Joe when he got severely injured (twice! not three) and instead took a fight with a lesser name and got beaten, so calzaghe no longer needed to worry about him.

Hopkins is in his prime now, and Calzaghe wasn't small enough for him to beat, Hopkins does usually fight blown up welterweights, otherwise hes in trouble.

Besides, Calzaghes too young for Dawson, if he can't handle a shot Johnson, imagine what a shot Calzaghe would do to him, maybe Dawson will fight Woods next.

Calzaghe is still the greatest of our era.
