    Now now, stop trying to put words in my mouth, we must remember teh fact that Hopkins and Jones were not shot, but yes, all the examples you laid out were shot fighters.

    We must also recall, proving Jones and Hopkins were not shot, that Calzaghe is actually a shot version of himsef, thanks to his brittle hands, his slow down in punch output, and his slight speed losss, so imagine had Joe been given the chances in his prime!

    Tyson KO2 Haye via a right hook. It's ludicrous to give Haye, completely unproven at heavy, any chance against a prime Tyson.

    Obviously I've arrived late, but why is the thread now about Joe?

    And, regardless of how we got here, it needs to be reiterated that Jones IS a shot fighter and has been for years and years.
