Williams won a close fight in which he looked the more hurt of the 2. I don't know why you guys keep bringing this crap back up.

 

Hearns and tito were considered big welters. When your fighting at welterweight and 5'11, at weigh ins your 147 and fight night your 160+, if your smart. Plus margo's got a big back, he could put on more than 160

 

I'm not reaching, it's you Margo fans that are doing that. Don't get mad at me because Williams said he used to own Margo in sparring and got kicked out of the gym for beating Margo's ass only to do the same when the two fought in the ring. Not only that you get offered a career high payday but you turn it down for less money against a much smaller man. Everyone knows Margo is Williams' *****.

Well you obviously can't read since I said Williams won a close fight. That being said he was the one who took the most punishment in the fight. Also Margo is the #1 rated Welter so Williams should be chasing him, not the other way around.

You do realize you can win a fight and still take a bigger beating? Much like Taylor would have won if he had not gotten KOd in the 12th

He should have taken the fight they had the balls to do it. If he thinks he can kick PBF''s ass like he says he can then he should have made the fight. What you fail to realize is PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Margo and no ammount of preparation would prepare him for the handspeed, footwork, defense, counter-punching and ring generalship that he would be instore for. He could train 100 lifetimes and it wouldn't be enough he's not good enough.:deal

While I agree that Margo probably can't beat PBF, that is no reason why you should excuse PBF for ducking Margo while accusing Margo of ducking Williams.

 

None of those fighters you mentioned won their fight (another good example would be Eubank and Calzaghe). Had they prepared with ample amount of time I'm sure we would've seen a much CLOSER fight or even a different result...

BTW it should be the other way around Margo should be chasing Williams around like a true Mexican warrior trying to avenge his loss like EM, JMM or MAB with Pac. If pbf is a stylistic nightmare for Margo then why is he been running from him for year's???
