Well, i think Hatton would win....

That being said, i think pacman has a chance with his combo of a fast and powerful straight left hand, against collazo, it was collazos speed that was getting to hatton late in the fight, and i think thats hattons weakness... with pac you have good speed and a guy whos going to bring it to you all night just about, and whos got good pop.

BUT - i feel hatton will nutralise that with his natural strength by staying in close, banging the body, and i dont think pac will be able to dish it to hatton as well as hatton will dish it to pac....

what a great great fight that would be, i really hope that one gets made... could you imagine the excitement of the crowd?

Well one thing's for sure is that it will be give and take. I'd love to see it and it should be a proper war no matter who wins.

both are different types of pressure fighters. hatton may stand in front of you and trade shots, esp the right. old fashioned give and take and will go to the body and give and take. he also does have a damn good joe frazier-style of left hook where he'll lunge and throw all his body weight behind it. imo i think left hooks work better on leftys than right hands but to each his own. manny has great footwork and now a good jab and darts in and out, but with devastating results as he breaks down his opponents. i think ricky has the bigger one punch power, but pacman has a developed better stamina and strength which may help him take hard shots better. if ricky can stay away from manny's left and finish the exchanges, he can squeak a decision. if he tries to box manny, i think manny will cut his ass up and i don't think manny would want to go toe to toe with hatton and pretty much just beat hatton to the punch, get hatton off his rhythm, and breakhim down. manny works the angles, he wins. if they go toe to toe, ???

Yep, all I think about when I think of Hatton fighting Pac is that left hand of Pac's. Hatton's going down earlier than he did against Mayweather imo.

All I can envision is Manny snapping Hatton's head back with straight lefts, like Collazo did in the 12th and Mayweather did with his right hand in the 8th. I can't imagine him dealing with Manny's workrate and in-and-out style; in order to get close he'll have to eat a lot of shots. Pac TKO's Hatton in the 8th round.

Im curious as to what makes you guys so confident that pac can take what hatton has to dish out when hes on his A game? It might be another ballgame when being hit by hatton as to being hit by jmm, morales and Mab....

God i hope this fight is made, this would be exciting as hell, as long as hatton keeps his holding in check.

    None. Hatton owns Pac

PAC is solid as a rock, and short of a crunching body blow, Hatton has **** all strategic options to beat him. Hatton's hopes will be built on wearing PAC down, but pac is not Mallinaggi. PAC is lightning quick (essentially a Judah type slickster at 140), hits like a freight train, adaptable, ring smart, evasive, and Hatton is....what?. It is difficult to envision a scenario where Hatton does not get hacked up and knocked the hell out in 8 rounds. But you know, anything's possible.

I think your selling Hatton short here....

Make no mistake he is a 140lber and there will be a differance in strength between him and the 130lbers pac has been facing, how much remains to be seen, but ill be willing to bet that Hatton is the stronger guy come fight night....

i am def favoring hatton in this but not by much.... id say 55 45 lol....

Southpaw fights that have been close against Hatton and were he didnt look as good.

    Jonathon Thaxton
    Eammon Maggee
    Juan Urango
    Luis Collazo

Now those fights he either looked awful or he just won.

His tyle is not suited for Southpaws.

And Manny to me is the best Southpaw out there.

Thats why Hattons father was always said no to a fight against Judah. Imagine what manny will do if you saw the Urango and Collazo fights.

Plus Manny has improved as a boxer i feel.
