Yeah, Hatton put out a comment about Pac few days ago. He wants this fight as much as Pac. Whoever wins, which I believe it will be Pac :p, the fight will probably go down as one of the best welterweight fights in recent memory - definitely the best fight of 2009.

Pac should be the underdog. Duh?!

Ricky is the champ at 140.

Underdog is where Manny like it hot. Ricky and him will make another Dream Match. I match before where everyone would say your delusional if you think Pacquiao has even 1% chance to beat Hatton.

Enzo. I give him his credit, it's just you and Harrison don't dare hear anything remotely negative about the guy. You jump to conclusions, calling me a Pacteron, or whatever the **** that is.

De La Hoya was shot, I'm not going to argue with you about it. I won't have my intelligence insulted by someone telling me Oscar was fine, because I know he wasn't. However, his first fight with Barrera was perfectly legitimate.

I could see Pacman knock out Hatton in 5. Mayweather stopped Hatton in 10 and Oscar went the full 12 with Mayweather. So Pacman stopping Oscar in 8 means he could stop Hatton in 4 or 5. I know that comparison stuff never works, but makes a little bit of sense.

Boxing is and never has been an exact science. I see your logic, but Hatton is a tougher opponent, today, than Oscar is at 147. Likewise, I feel Mayweather is not only superior to Pacquiao, but has a style that is better suited to the recklessness of Hatton. Mayweather didn't have to take many clean shots, whereas Pacquiao, despite rumors of him being a master boxer, will be taking shots to land shots. A different equation altogether.

I never called anyone pacteron, just for the record. :good

It's easier to say he's shot after pac beat the hell out of him, but i bet before the fight you were expecting oscar to Knock pac out. Pac proved you wrong time and again that's enough for me.

Everybody was expecting oscar to beat him not only because of his skills but by his sheer size alone. People thought oscar to dwarf pac and KHTFO but they were in for a very big surprise. You can argue that oscar was shot but you cannot deny the fact that pac carried his power and speed pretty well and because of that he gave himself a fair chance of beating a giant opponent.

Now... what if pac didn't carry his power and was a notch slower and didn't improved his defense. Can he win against that so called "shot" version of oscar? i don't think so...

what they're talking about has some legitimacy though. earlier this year, hatton was hurt by lazcano, in addition to the fact that he cuts easy. hatton has so-so defense at best. pacquiao would be landing at high rate against him. hatton strategy would be to hold+hit to smother pac's activity and bring the fight at close quarters. i dont see it as a tall task for pac to stop hatton. if anything else, it's an even money fight.
