IMO this is a 50/50 fight.. Can't believe how much people is underestimating Hatton.. some where even calling him shot after his defeat to Mayweather.

Pacman fans are not saying Hatton is shot. That's absurd and counterproductive for Pac to fight a "shot" Ricky Hatton. On the contrary, it's Hatton fans around here who are stirring up all kinds of silly excuses - preparing for a possible defeat, e.g., "Hatton was in his prime when he fought Tszyu". This implies Hatton isn't the fighter he once was so the probability of Hatton losing to Pac is not far fetched but a prime Hatton would beat Pac. Do you see the sneakiness and double talk?

No, I see rampant paranoia. Hatton was clearly at his peak in 2005, that doesn't mean thats he's shot or that the 2009 verson can't beat Pac or that a Pac win wouldn't be a very impressive performance for Manny.

Its just a statement of fact that Hattons absolute peak was 2005, its paranoid Pac fans who seem to be unable to let it go, not Hatton fans.

ok. everyone repeat after me. hatton is not shot. if pac defeats hatton in a very dominant way, i will not pull the excuse of hatton being already shot or past his prime. i will give pac full credit for his victory. (repeat 5x) :deal

I don't think so. I can't see Hatton qutting so quickly. Also, although Hatton's defence is poor he can take up time in clinches if he manages to pin him down, and he is quicker and has better footwork at this stage to actually achieve that.

Pacquiao isn't that big of a puncher that is going to spark a 140lb fighter out. He can't even do that at lightweight. His power has always been decreasing through the weights. He hit Diaz with the kitchen sink. I think he'd have to accumulate damage on Hatton and stop him late, barring corner intervention.

Some of you guys are really acting like Hatton can't be stopped. He does not have an iron chin, far from it. Do you guys think Mayweather hits harder than Pacquaio? If Mayweather Knocked Hatton out silly, what do you think a relentless beast who throws flurries of furious punches would do to Bobble head Hatton. I have it anywhere between 5 to 8 round Pacquaio TKO.

Hatton has never come close to being stopped at 140. Hatton will stop Pac mid-rounds with a sickening body attack.....remember Pac has been stopped twice with body shots.
