Well Holyfield never had a dominant run at top of the division like Tyson.
He also didn’t beat Tyson when he was he’s top form.

I rank Tyson slightly ahead of Holyfield based on accomplishments.

Bert Sugar has him in as he once called it on an episode of "Ringside: Top 10 Heavyweights" the "Top 11" with him obviously being #11. I agree with this for the most part.

Your'e right, he didn't have an exactly dominating hold on the division, but he fought better guys. Holyfield was the #1 challenger for Tyson for two years as ranked by The Ring, the WBA & WBC. But who'd Tyson fight in 1989 through 1990, or let's put it frankly, in his whole career during his prime? Holyfield fought and beat the best, where Tyson only beat two world class fighters, and aged Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks. He was set to defend the undisputed championship against Tyson in '91, but he pulled out because of injuries.

Well on saturday night we watched the legend fight to become the oldest HW champion ever and win his 5th HW belt. After arguably(to not say robbery) beating the much bigger champion he lost a MD.
God bless you Evander!!!The true champion

In my opinion, you could EASILY have Evander between 3-5 if you wanted to.

He has beaten a ridiculous amount of good fighters.

    Bowe
    Tyson
    Moorer
    Foreman
    Holmes
    Mercer
    Cooper
    Ruiz
    Douglass
    Qawi
    Tillman
    Dokes
    Thomas
    Tillis
    Rahman
    Oquendo
    Savarese
    Cooper

That's just an amazing list to me. I can't think of anyone outside of Mohammed Ali and Lennox Lewis who fought tougher competition.

don't see how on earth you could have him between 3-5 considering the fights he has lost as well. Also fights with people like qwai should have no bearing on his atg heavyweight ranking.
