Brian Hughes who done biographies on Willie Pep - "The Will o' the Wisp" and Sugar Ray Robinson - "Peerless" is due to release one on Thomas Hearns.

This should be a great read.

I'll get back to you on a release date. I emailed Brian asking him for the date. His book on Pep many years ago was well acclaimed and his one on Robinson is relatively new.

Doesn't look like it, even though it days late 2008 on his site. I can't wait for it.

All we need now is a Hagler biography.

There's a brilliant book called FOUR KINGS on the Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran era. It concentrates on them pretty much in that order, so there's more emphasis on say SRL than Tommy, but it's a great read nonetheless.

Sugar Ray Leonard - James Haskins.

Roberto Duran "Hands of Stone" - Christian Giudice.

Thomas Hearns (title tba) - Brian Hughes.

Steve Marantz, where are you? You need to do one on Hagler, thus completing the quadruple.

The FOUR KINGS book by George Kimball fills the void until someone gets around to doing the Hagler book.

The Marvellous one has been living in Itali for years now and may be hard to get quotes from these days.

I loved Four Kings, was a great read. Will definitely buy the Hearns biography though.
