Haye's Sparring Partner For Vitali Klitschko: Lennox Lewis

I'd consider it much more unusual if Lewis wasn't helping out Haye for this fight.
He's helped him out in others, suddenly refusing to have anything to do with it because it's Vitali would be leaving Haye in the lurch.

Who else is Haye going to ask? Byrd's not going to be able to tell him how to dislocate Vitali's arm, and everyone else got beat by Vitali without a whole lot of success.

As for Vitali's fans accusing Lewis of being obsessed...I don't think I really need to bother making any jokes about that attitude, it speaks for itself.

 

Yep, Vitali is really playful. How you can ask Lennox to 'let it go' is beyond me, Vitali is obsessed with the guy, hardly the other way round.

 

This has the making of a possible movie storyline However in the movie the old champ got stomped by the reigning king, is bittered and trying to relive former greatness to his new disciple.

Firstly, Lewis was starting to hammer Vitali, and would have got him out of there in a round or two.

I mean, Lewis never started slowly ina fight did he?

I hope it's to give Haye some insight into what to expect from Vitali rather then sparring. Lennox is sporting an impressive midsection these days, can't see how sparring is gonna help Haye.

 

They were both battering each other and in the last 2 rounds Lennox won them both so does that not tell you it was Vitali who was suffering more? He threw everything at Lewis and he took it all and was starting to nail Vitali with some huge shots last 2 rounds.

If it wasn't stopped on the cut Vitali would have been tko'd around round 9/10.

Plus it cant do no harm having some advice from one of the best heavyweights ever now can it.

What about all the other cuts on Vitali's face? Besides the nasty eye gash, Vitali's face was cut in several places.
Lewis busts up jut about everyone's face. Cause he hits kinda really hard.
