a master technician but will never win a CLOSE fight if he keeps on kissing the canvass.

I dunno about that. The judges could easily go the other way next time. When fights are that close you can never say never. One thing is for sure - the guy has great powers of recovery!

    Silly.

Remember when he priced himself out of a Pac rematch then went and took on Chris John in his own backyard, for a fraction of the offer!

In all seriousness though, JMM is great and I'd love to see a 3rd fight with the P4P#1!

Incredibly difficult to say....most on here seemed to be of the opinion that JMM had done enough last time....I wasn't one of them, though I actually thought JMM won the 1st fight!

I think there are many twists and turns in the road to come....Pac right now has fights with Hatton and Mayweather in the offing....JMM is currently operating in the stacked LW division....who knows what could happen between now and then?

Right now if you were to ask, I'd say Pac though I do recognise that JMM causes him trouble like no other, even now with the improvements Pac had made since the 1st Morales fight. One consideration is JMM's age....as good as he is, it will eventually catch up with him and I suspect there is alot to happen between now and any 3rd fight.

I see weight as being the critical factor more than age. Although JMM was superb against Casamayor, I view him as a featherweight who has chased Pac up to lightweight, I do not believe he is as comfortable as Pac at weights higher than superfeather. A fight between them at 135 may be another 50-50 razor-thin thriller, but if the fight happens at 140 as I think it very well may do, I would strongly fancy Pacquiao, possibly by stoppage. I cannot see JMM having the same speed, power and stamina above light.
