He is boring to watch but he is very good. He beat tito ortiz in his last fight. I hope no injuries happens this time cuz i want to see Machida vs Thiago Silva. This should be a good fight. Silva is young and aggressive so i hope this fight end up pretty good. The winner deserves a title shot for sure.
i rewatched the Ortiz fight the other night that win over Ortiz was quite impressive especially considering how at the end of the 1st round he easily avoided Titos takedown and threw Tito down himself hard went straight into side control trapped an arm and started pounding him and you could see Tito starting to panic on the buttom if time doesnt run out in that round Tito Ortiz gets stopped give it 6-7 more secounds. He was more impressive with his GNP IMO then anyone else whos got Tito down and that includes Randy Couture when he mounted Ortiz.
the really impressive thing is that i believe tito fought as hard as he possibly could have.. he had nothing more to give.. there were times when you could see him getting discouraged but hed always just shake his head, grit his teeth and come back hard only to repeatedly learn he was fighting a ghost.. dominating a fit, motivated, and prepared tito is quite an achievement..
i wouldn't call him boring. if i had to come up with a word off the top of my head, i would say that he's very.... "elusive".
