How do you rate this work by Ike Quartey? This was actually the first I saw of Ike if I remember correctly, and it is extremely impressive.

I'll give Pinlon Thomas a mention here for his use of that big, badass jab of his in the Witherspoon fight. It alone earned him the decision, IMO.

Videos aren't playing for me, but is that the fight where he slaughters that Asian fighter?

One of the most lopsided fights I've ever seen. At the end someone asks where the nearest hospital is I believe, as the Asian fighters corner didn't speak English but everyone could just tell by looking at him that he needed to get one.

A good one where you see a rare example of an effective jab against an elite fighter is Napoles against Griffith. Most examples are of a guy landing on B class fighters, but not the hall of famers.

Yeah, Quartey's jab was his meal ticket. It was such an important wepaon in his arseanl as a point scorer, range finder, and setting up his right hand and hook. He built his whole rhythm as a fighter with the jab. I liked his jab against Lopez as well when he sat back and sustained it round after round.

Of course it did: what else happened in that atrocious "fight"?

Sort of like Valuev-Ruiz: I remember Ruiz jabbing well to the body and Valuev jabbing well to the head, and that's it.

Bruce Seldon had an amazing jab......... people forget that plainly because he lost his heart in the Tyson spectacle......

I liked Holmes' jab against Lucien Rodriguez. He came heavy for that fight and was static on his feet but controlled the entire fight with his signature weapon.

The esteemed Greg Page jab was heavy and prominent vs Renaldo Snipes
