    AA is to damn big

lolol yeah he did take that L... but im just saying from now on

He's showed a great level of focus, desire, and versatility that really makes him a threat to anyone in the 3 weight classes i mentioned...

yeah he is vulnerable as well but i think he would be able to make it out with anyone from welter-middle.

like i said thats just how i fee for right now

    thats including floyd

why are people (you) so fixated on this?

like yeah they split but it doesnt seem either one of them are eagerly searching for a tie breaker... if quintana really desperately wanted that rematch im sure we would have heard about it by now youtube videos, more callouts, ANYTHING!!!.... ive seen one article ... but people on forums want the rematch more than quintana does

Paul has already lost at welter so I am convinced there is a way to beat him, even though he did what he was supposed to do in the rematch, its clear that Paul is beatable, and let me say this when you bring up his narrow win over Margarito note, that Margarito has never once been dominated like that.

in other words its likely paul will lose again when he steps back up, especially if he continues to fight on the lower level he has been sooner or later someone will step in there that will be game to fight him back and when that happens Pauls lack of tough opposition will come back to haunt him.

    Give over.

Pavlik an Abraham would chop him down like he's a tree blowing in the wind.

Honestly... because I think Quintana fought the wrong way in their rematch and I think he can do much better. Calling people out doesn't really work too well, if it did Williams would be all over the place. Quintana is actually a very humble guy and I highly doubdt you'll ever see a youtube video like the one Cintron did to call Margo out. I doubdt I want the rematch more than he does, I just think a rubber match would have been better than Andy Kolle at 160lbs. :bbb

EDIT: and yes Quintana has openly stated he wants a rematch with Williams, actually even with Cotto.

Williams does not "fight tall." He does not seem to have a clue how to take full advantage of his enormous reach. Furthermore, he is not that hard to hit. Pavlik would beat him half to death on the way to a highlight real KO.

He might give AA a rough time for awhile. Abraham does not have much experience with tall fighters, and he made tons of mistakes against Ikeke, but like I said, PW is a long way from mastering the art of "fighting tall." Eventually, Arthur would catch him, and it's good night Paul.

he is vulnerable... thats part of what makes him so interesting....
but a focused paul williams I take him over anyone.... and yeah margarito fight is close.. Im not saying its impossible margarito can win... but paul williams can obviously win if they do it again....so could margarito

and what lack of comp? hes trying pretty hard to get great fights... so far hes doing a good job especially if he inks up this winky fight

    cotto was always busy
    floyd was never interested
    he beat margo
split with quintana but handled business
    berto aint ready
and hbo deaded the fight with clottey
    shane wont fight him
pavlik didnt want to fight him because he wouldnt get any credit for the win.....

so I mean he's atleast tried to make something happen with everyone at worth trying to fight with.. you cant be mad at paul really... and if he does happen to lose .. at least he did it in a glorious way

abraham is to big but i think Pavlik weaknesses work in Paul's Favor... we've seen pav shook up before and paul has the physical advantages to make it possible... and what worse case scenario paul gets ko'd atleaset we have an exciting fight in the process.... id rather see paul & pavlik fight more than pavlik fight abraham or sturm or anyone else around pav's weight class

Paul More than calls people out... he actually takes the iniciative to try to make these fights happen... He gets denied more than he calls people out.. and forget all this humble ****.. if quintana REALLY wanted to avenge his loss he would do whatever he could in his power to do this....

you see ricky hatton say he wishes he could fight floyd again in numerous videos & articles... theres only been 1 article about quintana claiming he wants the rematch...

I'm always worried about paul because of his un-orthadox movement but until he shows a GLARING WEAKNESS... aside from having no chin (which is kind of balanced out because of his chin.. wouldnt put it in margo's catagory) then well just have to see what happens... up until this point hes handled his business

like i said abraham is to big.... pavlik would be a nice competitive matchu

I've been waiting for this for a long time.... It would be a super dangerous match up but if paul could pull it off we would have a true welter weight champ..... plus i think based on paul williams physical build he can replicate the performance margo produced on cotto

just a lot of pressure & a lot of punches....

paul can do this because of his lenght, speed & variety of punches and if paul can happen to shake cotto .. i think paul will finish the job...

but on the other hand pauls body is super open... and we all know what cotto normally does to the body..

As much as i love floyd i cant see it....

I dont care what anyone tells me.. paul williams had a shitty day at the office with quintana...

paul williams if ever faced off against floyd would come into the ring extremely focused... and if he was putting all that body work against verno, has shown that he can go the distance and keep his energy agianst margo, has shown that he has knock out power (kolle-quintana).. how much out boxing can we expect floyd to do.... i mean paul isnt slow & plodding at all.. hes fast and explosive bouncy and unorthadox and can bang...

in my eyes floyd would be hte underdog.... but the way to beat paul williams is starting from outside his reach and throwing lunging shots and then tieing him up... floyd is definitely capable of doing that but it woudl be an incredible test for floyd

Floyd will win this fight in the press conferences, he'll definetely get under Paul's skin. Paul was getting caught by right hands by Verno the first 4 rounds, Floyd is 100x better than Verno at counter punching.
Floyd will take this fight inside, under Paul and get the best of him. This is PBF we're talking about, no way will he stand on the outside & let this guy just tag him.

Floyd has never faced the type of pressure that PTP would impose on him. His size, reach, and workrate is exactly the type attributes that could neutralize Floyd's strengths. Out of all of today's crop of welters I venture to say PTP has the best shot at dethroning PBF in fact, I would favor him if they were to ever fight.
