Before you laugh, icemax, read this article from ESPN, Dan Rafael, entitled :
"Pacquiao following bravely in steps of other lighter-weight greats "

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/columns/story?id=3746093

This is surely not a Pinoy media outfit.

Here's another one from Ring Magazine article authoried by Michael Rosenthal:

Pacquiao and Armstrong in the same sentence?

http://www.thering-online.com/blog/109/pacquiao_and_armstrong_in_the_same_sentence/

Obviously, these are Philippine state media outfit. I hope this clears your mind on the arguable greatness Pac has already attained in history.

He attained greatness but not yet close to those legends. Beat Hatton and a possible Mayweather. Then he will be carved on a stone.

Get off Pacqiao's nutsack.

-----------------------------
You forgot about Margarito and Williams whom PBF ducked to preserve his 0 Loss.
Can you say that to Pac who fears no one in his division and even a highly favored former middleweight champ?

IMO, PBF should not be included in that list.

Floyd nutsuckers, answer this.

yeah. Beat a retired fighter and another fighter who hasn't looked that good recently, that will just carve. his. greatness. in. stone.

Bleah.

Beat Guzman, Soto, Diaz, Linares, Juanma, Valero - hell just FIGHT a couple tough guys in their prime and you might have a case. Taking a retirement home tour for most of your career = shite imho.

Margarito and Williams A: Aren't even in Floyd's true weight class and B: weren't big names or considered super challenges when he retired. Why is it when PBF goes to 147 to cherrypick a weak Oscar everyone wants him to fight every MW posing as a WW in the world but when Pac does it, his fans resist calls for Pac even to fight the best FEATHERWEIGHTS??

:patsch Hoya > Guzman, Soto, Diaz, Linares, Juanma, Valero

Pacquiao doesn't even need to pick on those fighters. If they want legacy do it without a Pacquiao on their resume.

Hoya was **** in that fight, a dead man walking. Totally, completely and in every way shot to **** as a fighter. I could have put gloves on and knocked him out myself. That's the TRUTH, whether you like it or not. I give Manny props for taking the fight, but ODLH didn't show up and that's all there is to say about that. Good paycheck for Pac, and that's IT.

Why are you sooooooo scared to see Manny fight a young, prime fighter?

Doesn't it suck always having to dance around that issue in every thread?
