Normally before a fight I here bull**** like Oscar is gona destroy pacman, and bhopkins is gona get killed by pavliks right hand, from bull**** computer geeks who dont know **** about boxing. buh then agen i normally make a post hours before the fight predicting the outcome, and wen it proved to be true people are like, well we knew that was gona happen. and the guys denyin the outcome simply dissappear.

    I predicted:
    1) pacman will RTD oscar on cuts in later rounds becuz he's too fast(close enough)
    2) Hopkins would out smart Pavlik and make him look bad and win a UD
    3) Haye would stop enzo in 2nd round

today i say that evender will beat the beast in a boaring jabbing match. and squeeze a decision, something like 115-113 ish. course i can be easily wrong buh then you can bring this thread up, next tym i run my mouth.

Well, I already stated weeks ago that Valuav's style suits Holyfield pretty well. Valuev is a stationary target who does not move his head or feet. He is also slow and fights in a predictable way. IMO he lost to Donald and twice to Ruiz.

The Holyfield of the Ibrahimigov would have a shot. But another inactive year might have hurt Holyfield. It is very questionable if the 46 year old Holy can pull off the upset. Common sense says Valuev by UD because Holy is too old now.

You predicted a Holyfield victory because you have predicted other fights correctly. What other arguments do you have to back up your claim?

my reason for predicting a holyfield victory is that as you have alreay metioned valuev is a stationary target, workrate is low and i believe it is a clash of styles benefiting holyfield. I think if valuev doesnt bring something else to the table he will lose, buh myt be controvency over the fight becuase of the judges.

holyfield is the one with a low workrate, he only fights in spurts = about one minute per round. valuev will constantly poke out the jab which will be enough to win him most of the rounds. valuev by comfortable ud.

It's hard to punch up at a guy. Valuev's height will compromise the famous Holyfield Head Jab. I don't think Valuev is given enough credit. He may not deserve a LOT of credit, but he deserves some.

It will be interesting to see what tact Holyfield takes here, because it's not going to be easy...

God I hope you are right, even if it's BORING(not boaring) but most likely Valuev will win the boring jabboing contest.
    WAR HOLYFIELD

What the hell is jabboing? ;) I would never getting into a jabboing match with Valuev, wouldn't be able to walk properly for weeks.

But yes, Valuev by wide UD. Holyfield has looked terrible for a long time, he has poor stamina and work rate now. Given that he is no longer fast it means his relative size is going to be too much of a problem to compete with Valuev. I think... :p

    You guys are wilin...

I'm as big of a Holyfield fan as the next man but Evander doesn't see 8. He's gonna get stopped by Valuev...Or even he probably stops throwing punches after a couple rounds and the ref or his corner stops it.

May, you're going to be wrong this time, unfortunately. I see a 117-111 victory for Boreuev.

I think it can be agreed that this fight is going to the cards. So I have backed both Valuev at 13/8 and Holyfield at 8/1.
