very true beanie. Frazier not as technical as Ali and look what happened the first time. hopefully if they fight, with the similiar circumstances going on like Ali formerly the p4pking coming back from retirement to fight Smokin Joe to reclaim his position, it will be a classic! even if floyd outboxes him, manny's fast enough to catch him with some shots. i don't care about floyd losing, i just want for him to use his ungodly skill and man up to see how far he can really get and fight the elite welters. he'd get more respect if he won or lost to a clottey, margo, williams, cotto, or mosley. resume wise he's better than all of them, but i don't think he's better until he proves it.

It's nonsense to say Margarito should avenge his losses. Hagler & Hearns didn't need to avenge their losses before. It was still a great fight. Ditto for Gatti-Ward, Ali-Frazier, Foreman-Lyle. Hopkins didn't avenge his losses but still put on a career best performance vs. Pavlik. Margarito, like Hopkins, is at his very best now, he has gained from those losses and has become a more dangerous and formidable fighter.

Just another lame excuse to let lil floyd wiggle off the hook from his most dangerous challenge. and inevitable brutal beatdown.

I don't think Floyd is gonna be fighting Margarito. He mentioned he wants to fight the biggest fights or something. The only really big fight that can be had with him is against Manny Pacquiao.

Don't think Margarito has the name recognition and ppv draw to lure Floyd into that high kind of high risk fight for him.

Margarito gets the chance to fight floyd, he will get unbelievable support. Mexicans would come out in full force to back their man, and Margarito also has many non-Mexican fans as well. This is the fight that would make Margarito a Chavez type superstar. floyd would benefit off it too, via ticket sales and PPV #s.

but floyd doesn't see it that way. the only thing he sees in Margarito is a guy that could literally leave him a bloody abused brutal knockout victim.

floyd's accomplishments: 5 titles in 5 weight classes while remaining undefeated all by the age of 30.

pacquiao's accomplsihments" 4 titles in four weight classes not undefeated

the question for you is what has pacquiao accomplished that floyd hasn't:deal

based on what criteria. floyd is 18-0 in champiosnhip fights what is pacquiao's record in championship fights, and does he match floyd's twelve title defenses:deal

    no **** sherlock:hat

Pacman won 5 titles in 5 different weight divisions too, 112,122,126,130, & 135.

That includes titles in 3 of the 8 original weightclasses something Floyd hasnt done.

    Hi Floyd :good

I just think that Pacquiao with fights against Barrera x2, EM x2, JMM x2, Larios, Solis and DLH is outstanding, he's holding winst against all of them.

Floyd has Castillo x2, DLH, Hernandez, Judah, Hatton, Baldomir, Gatti and N'Dou.

I think the 0 is something to protect like Floyd does, but with wins over legitimate 147lbs champions like Margarito and/or Paul Williams/Cotto does much for him. I would definitely rate him much higher because he would actually go down with a great win in 147 against a prime elite fighter.

Just adding Margarito alone would make me put him higher than Pacquiao

You don't think Mannys wins are more solid for a legacy? I am not talking about divisions champ now, they both are demi- gods we all know it, but I am talking about their actual wins against "elite" fighters.
Both of em are P4P phenomenoms, but that fight can wait.. Margarito vs. Floyd is the fight of the century.

At the end of the day, the quality of opponents is more important than a loss or two, it's about names :deal
