Valuev vs Holyfield - Fight of the year?

This fight was brimming with excitement. Valuev not throwing punches at Holyfield and Holyfield grazing Valuev with what could only be called punches. And then Holyfield getting tired from his constant grazing of Valuev and then Valuev mounting a barrage of light grazing "punches" of his own. An oddly controversial decision was just icing on the cake for me for this fight, which can only go down as the greatest fight ever in Heavyweight boxing. In fact after this fight there might not ever be a Heavyweight division for fear of not being able to live up to the quality of this legendary fight that I had the pleasure of watching.

Holyfield/Valuev - FOAT (Fight of all time)

Now if you don't mind, I'm going to wash my eyes out with soap and rubbing alcohol.

 

I thought it was more like watching Picasso **** Monet inside of a kaleidoscope while Andy Warhol was pooping himself. There's so much art involved it'll blow your mind to even begin to comprehend it. I saw alot of parallels in the fight today.

You know, if you knew anything about boxing, you would have known why Valuev wasn't doing anything, and looked confused out there. Valuev thought he was going to woop Evander like he did Barrett, but Evander moved like a young man, and fought at angles, and picked his spots, and Evander wooped the giant. If Valuev didn't have a good chin, he would have been Ko'd by the Real Deal. Evander hit him with about 15 good solid shots that rocked the giant's head. This fight was GRAND LARCENY of the YEAR. Sad.

I have followed this sport for 20 years and I love boxing but this fight and this result has made me feel physically sick. How can a guy who did nothing for 12 rounds retain his title like that. He is the worst world champion in the history of our sport bar none and the judges have to be investigated. Its fights like these that are ruining our sport.

 

It was a robbery, but it was as exciting as two salamanders ****ing. Which is pretty lackluster

rOBERRY or not Holyfield should not be allowed to box anymore.. Please people ,spare as from another boring fight from Holy and stop asking for rematches.

 

I imagine two salamanders going at it is infinetely more interesting than watching that debacle.
The heavyweight division has just been read it's last rights.
