His last fight he had a close one with Mayorga but I think it was more of a matter of Mayorga fighting a great fight and not to mention looking huge in there against a natural 147. Also Mayorga is awkward as hell. However Mosley hurt him a few times in the fight and finished it in spectacular fashion. I think he is gonna bring his A game against Margo and that's dangerous because Margo is made for Mosley. I'm a fan of both fighters so I win/lose either way. If Margo can take Mosleys shots then I will be amazed. I think Mosley is the hardest puncher at 147 with Cintron right behind him. I can't wait for this fight!!!
We are overlooking Mosley's chances, but he isn't the second hardest hitter at 147. I don't think he carried his power up very well.
he has good power...he does have 3 ko's in his last 5 fights...2 of them were pretty much one [unch on two tough guys in vargas and mayorga
I think a lot are underestimating him. He didn't look great against Mayorga, but he came in like 10-15 lbs heavier then Shane and he comes forward with some highy unorthodox power punches. For his age, I think he is still one of the faster guys at 147-154 and his stamina is allright. Some fighters have shitty fights every once in a while( not saying he did) and some get old overnight. I think he will be very game against Margo and I can see it going to the cards and am leaning Margo by MD or close UD.
Shane hits as hard as Margo IMO. That wont matter though. It seems you cant hurt margo. Shane can win a decision if he can sustain his boxing.
Mosley looked like **** against Mayorga. So what if Mayorga was larger, Margo will be larger and stronger than shane as well and he has similiarities with Mayorga except that he is younger, has a much higher workrate, better stamina and as of now, his chin is better.
That's the reason Cotto started boxing after round 9 against Mosley. He felt the power and knew he was risking too much. Wow I can't believe people are underrating him so much. One "bad" fight and your shot around here. Also how is Margarito not made for Mosley. Mosley loves straight forward guys. Because with his combination of chin speed and power he is usually at an advantage.
I dunno I see a lot of people blowing off this fight. Personally I'm looking forward to it and I think Mosley has a good shot at beating Margo.
If Mosley fights the right fight - that's certainly true. If he was still with his dad I'd give him almost no chance.
What do you mean he had the fight in the bag? That fight was a very close win for Cotto. He won those last rounds which is what gave him the victory otheriwse I have a feeling he would have gotten beat or possibly KOd.
