Look...I dont think thats relevant here, who pea thinks will win out of Hatton and Pac..that hasnt happened yet.

Harada's career has...his achievements are all there for people to see..I personally share Sweet Pea's frustration at the level of ignorance about a fighter like Harada being shown in this thread..The guy was an amazing fighter with a great resume.

Pac will retire a greater fighter then him IMO, by a clear margin but right now its very close between them for the reasons he outlined.

If Harada had fought in this era he would have been a 4 or 5 division champion himself...He won the belt in two divisions, fly and bantam (undisputed, not just a title)...if there had been a supefly division he would have at least bagged a title there..he was robbed of another title against one of the better featherweights ever..the best in the world at that time at least..if their were a 122 division between them I reckon he surely would have at least won a title there aswell.
Hell if he was just grabbing titles, he may have gone even further...its all about perspective and context when comparing the two.

Sometimes, I wish that Filipinos could just keep Manny's fight videos to ourselves, and not let boxing fans from other countries see his fights, old or new.

I wanna be greedy and just keep all his fight vids to myself and my fellow Filipinos who appreciate what he's done.

Yeah, I know that's impossible, but I'm just imagining that sometimes, because I feel that the outside boxing experts just love to scrutinize and devalue most if not all of his fights, 24/7, it seems.

As I've said here before, the first couple of Pac fights that I've seen, back in the mid 1990's, it was like love at first fight. That skinny little dude can play, I thought.

He was like an Arturo Gatti type fighter, I thought. Sort of a glorified club fighter, blood and guts, crowd favorite. I didnt care if he would become world famous, I just wanted him to earn some good money before he retires, and maybe get one last shot at a world title, maybe.

I remember when featherweight Luisito Espinosa was the main man in Philippine boxing, and Gerry Penalosa was number 2. And Manny Pacquiao was a rising star, always the supporting undercard to Espinosa's fights. Manny would look up to those two graet fighters, literally and figuratively. This was a time when Gerry was in a higher weight class than Manny. It makes me laugh sometimes when I think of that.

I can honestly say that nearly 100% of his fights, he was going uphill. He was at a disadvantage.

His opponents were either too experienced, too strong, too skilled, toobig, too everything. But he kept on beating the odds.

The guy had something burning in him that pushed him to earn every win. The dude never disrespected his opponents, he never played dirty, he never cheated the paying customers and fans of his 100% effort.

I say it again. You all can take him out of the top 100 all time boxers list. Replace it with your favorite boxer. I dont care.

I'm just proud of all the great things he has done for us Filipinos. He's like James Braddock, in the time of the US depression, when people were losing hope, he helped buoy his countrymen's hopes up,

Even for just one day, all of us Filipinos are kings of the world.

very well said bulak. it just pains me sometimes that boxing 'analysts' who think they're being objective always devalue what pac has done in boxing. the hate he gets in here ain't worth it.

harada is a great fighter in his era. pac is also a great modern fighter... tbh there's no need to scrutinize pac's achivements just to say that harada's resume is greater than him.

i agree with whatarock when he said that pac will surpass harada someday. i just wish that some other so-called boxing experts here would think the same way

I agree that Harada probably could of won even more titles if they were split in them days in particularly a super bantam title if it existed. Some people on here are underestimating his opponents because they weren't all "world champs". The reason for that is because at that time there was only one world champ at the weight. If the title had been split back then chances are that those contenders he fought would have been "champs" themselves and at the same time fighters who are champs today wouldn't be champs if there was only one world title. If you go back over the last twenty years excluding world champs who you don't think were the best at their weight whilst claimants you would end up with a very big list of "contenders", chances are that most of them might not of even got a title shot.

Anyone with half a brain can see the truth in these posts. One or two posters, have done detailed breakdowns. The others are just idiots who dismiss their posts based on the fact they know little about Harada, and are Pac supporters.

    Why waste your time guys?

They haven't even said anything wrong for the millions of idiots replying with complete nonsense, all they have done is stated that at the moment things are very very close between them, and given some great examples as to why.
