If this is a wind-up it's a bad one. If not, then I am speechless! Calzaghe has beaten three times as many world class fighters at his weight as Ruiz has, plus he's never been beaten up by guys who started 70lbs lighter than him, or sparked in 19 seconds!
You stupid dick!

He fought ROY WHILE IN HIS ****ING PRIME, NOT WHEN HE WAS A 40 Year OLD and SHOT, ****IN OLD MAN!

I dislike Calzaghe. However, he is the best-super middleweight ever, and therefore he must be considered an ATG. IMO.

How so?

Did you look at Ruiz's resume? It's damn solid. I don't see how anyone here can deny that, even inspite of his fighting style.

Honest question, is this a wind-up? It has to be, surely! Care to name all the victories on Ruiz's record which look so great besides the two spankings by blown up middleweights and 19 second flattening? All the world class fighters Ruiz has beaten and the same for Calzaghe! Then think about how stupid what you have just written looks!

Oh, so you decided to not look at the two. Despite the fact that I posted the links directly to them.

So your only argument is denial.:bart

Erm, no. I've had good looks at both of them, not that I really need to as I am familiar enough with each fighter's resume.

World class fighters on Calzaghe's resume:

Eubank
Reid
Sheika
Woodhall
Brewer
Mitchell
Lacy
Bika
Kessler
Hopkins

World class fighters on Ruiz's record:

Holyfield
Johnson
Rahman
Golota
Oquendo
McCline

That is being generous to Ruiz and calling guys like Oquendo and McCline coming off two straight losses as world class. Plus factor in Calzaghe has never lost, let alone to two guys who started 70lbs lighter than him, or been sparked in 19 seconds!

Based on opposition, Ruiz has a greater legacy. Joe fought a way past his prime Jones and Hopkins. Both knocked him down and the second should have won the decision.

BTW, the ATG thing was a joke.

Calling him Slappy just shows your a hater, i did look at the records and saw one fighter who defended his world title 21 times and is undefeated and someone who has lost 8 times (should be 9 but Fatboy Toney decision was changed) and his only good name is Holyfield.
