I'd take Moore UD15, but I don't think he would knock the granite jawed Chuvalo off his feet-it would be a pretty fun fight.

I'll go for the unexpected and have Chuvalo shock everyone by wearing down and knocking out Moore in 11. A series of left hooks drives the worn out Moore to the deck twice in the 11th for a tko. Archie was GREAT but he wouldn't be able to phase Chuvalo and realizing this, Chuvalo would be relentless with his roughness and slop until he just wears down Moore.

Chuvalo bigger than the HW's Moore faced....Moore would try but no way could he hurt Chuvalo, I'm going for Chuvalo Win PTS. Besides, if the fight had happened when Moore was still around he'd have been way past it. You'd give him a punchers chance against most HW's, but no one has a punchers chance against Chuvalo! You'd have to outbox/outfight him, and I don;t think Moore could do that at HW.

James J Parker was 6' 31/2 ", and 211 3/4lbs,Moore was 40. Archie beat Alejandro Lavorante 6' 3 1/2",211lbs,Archie was 36.Archie would embarass Chuvalo and take an easy decision.imo.

I agree. George would be there for Arch and would be hammering away too. Put these two in a relatively small Ring and let'em go. Moore UD 15.

It would probably be rough in patches, but I would be confident in a comfortable decision for Moore. Note that Moore beat the bejesus out of Bob Baker, who went on to beat Chuvalo while past his prime, and destroyed Pete Rademacher, who beat Chuvalo.

Moore would outbox Chuvalo to a wide decision.

Moore by a wide UD...Archie was a sharp shooter and he could hurt George but I expect him to box him handily

Chuvalo wins it by late stoppage or decision. Not a better fighter than Moore, but bigger and stronger and granite chinned. Chuvalo was a larger version of Yvonne Durelle and stopped Durelle in 12th round of Canadian championship fight. Durelle came as close as you can come to stopping Moore.

I agree with the majority here. Archie by clear, but hard fought UD.

huh? Nino Valdez and Bob Baker were both top ranking heavyweight contenders who were taller and bigger than chuvalo. In fact Bob Baker BEAT chuvalo, moore destroyed baker in 9!
