The facts are out there to back it up if you are interested enough to make some quick research on the subject before posting your opinion. I was around when talks were getting hot about Margarito/Mayweather and it reflects what's happening right now with Margarito/Williams, only difference is that Margarito's case with Williams is FAR worse.

I wouldn't really say cautious unless Floyd had no options, if he had no better options and avoided a certain fight then sure I'll agree. Being cautious is in the game but depends who you're talking about, when you mention someone like Margarito who hasn't proven much of anything then I can't take it seriously.

Boxing knowledge DOES involve the discussions and negotiations that happen before fights take place because they also explain why certain fights didn't take place and why others did. Having knowledge in that proves knowledge and interest in the sport.

Williams doesn't really need to make a name for his self to get a fight with someone he already beat, if that's what you're hinting at. As far as Margarito not being finished, he can't afford to be finished, he only got his first major win recently.

What are the SOOO many options?

Margarito who is set to fight Mosley then Cotto after it?, Berto who is set to fight Collazo next year?, Cotto who is set to fight a tune-up then Margarito late next year?, Williams who is campaigning at 154 at the moment looking for a possible fight with Forrest or even Winky Wright?, the only name you can mention is Clottey if you want to go that far.

They do get answered, a lot actually have been answered so far but with Mayweather returning a lot regarding him are about to be answered and his plan to fight Pacquiao is a HUGE step and a fight which MANY are supporting and begging for already.

And NO. I don't think he sucks ass. But I think he would be staring up at the stadium lights if he takes on PBF, PW, Clottey or Margo. He is on the Cintron-level as of now.

this is the stupidest term I have heard in boxing. The goal in boxing is to hit the other guy more than you get hit. So if he is backing up and landing shots while not taking any in return, then what is he doing wrong??? To me that is boxing, that is his style.

I don't consider anyone that calls ANY boxer a runner, a true fight fan. If your calling someone a runner, then all you want to see is two guys beat the hell out of each other (go watch the UFC). Boxers like Floyd are skilled enough to rely on speed and footwork to take themselves out of harms way. You think if Gatti or Ward coulda moved like Floyd does they would have taken the abuse in the ring that they did???
