Who's better, Manny or Guzman?

Guzzy gets mauled....but he's still a good fighter. Just not on Pac's level. He has a better chance at JMM yet that is still not in the cards to pull out a "W" against him either. PAC, JMM, EM and MAB are all on different levels then guys like Guzzy, Soto, Valero ect.

 

GuZman = world class. Surprised no one gives him a chance.

 

Ah...he has a chance....just not a very good one. This is boxing...to count anyone completely out is almost like shooting yourself in the foot. But "USUALLY" logic would be a safe way to go about predicting the outcome of any fight......With Manny logic isn't always the best thing to use..but in this case it's a safe bet to say Manny is just on anther level than Joan and betting agaisnt PAC would be borderline ******ed if this fight ever happened.

 

Guzman is very underrated, he's maybe the best counter-puncher out there. Also, physically he's just as big as Pacquiao, and his style, defense and speed would be a nightmare for Pac.

But his workrate and lack of power lately would be a decisive factor favouring Pacquiao, so I'm going to a close UD for the PacMan.



Anyone who picked Pacquiao by KO knows nothing of Guzman. He's got a A+ grade chin and an A grande defense. No way in hell Pacman would be able to hurt him at all... Notice that the only fighter out there Freddie Roach said PacMan should avoid at all costs, is Guzman. Maybe he knows something...

 

I believe Guzman would win a comfortable UD on everyone's cards except the judges.

I agree that Guzman is a stylistic nightmare for Manny, but Manny is still the much better and more complete fighter and I think he squeezes out a fairly convincing victory, something like Calzaghe's win over Kessler.

 

I do agree with Guzzy having a good chin and all but so did DLH.....TKO is not out of the questions for PAC.

 

Guzman has zero to no relevance anymore, unfortunately. And he's slick, but he likes to get caught up in exchanges. He gassed near the end with barrios and was getting worked over in a good fight, that really shouldn't have been that good.

Although he played with Soto well enough.

Anyhow, Pacquiao by KO just because.

 

Pacquiao wins.

 

Guzman simply has more boxing skill, is faster, better mover, better at timing his shots, a hell of a chin. This wouldn't be an easy fight but he'd win a UD. Roach steered Pac away from Guzman at 130
