Calzaghe will probably retire. Kessler has said he doesn't want none. Tarver 2, well, nobody wants to see that, but it will happen.

After that's over with, who do you realisticallywant to see Chad Dawson face in the rest of 2009?

    My picks:

    -Johnson/Diaconu winner
    -Adamek
    -Bute

Id like to see him lose to Calzaghe or Kessler but if not then I think it woul dbe fair to give Glen Johnson another shot, just to clear up the confusion. Then fight a top light heavy like a Diaconu.

That will never happen. Calzaghe has no interest in fighting him, and Kessler would assuradly lose.

    Here's my list of fights for Dawson;

    Kessler
    Hopkins
    Johnson/Diaconu winner
    Cloud

How about the ultimate test against B-Hop? Calzaghe very well may not retire and where has Kessler said he doesn't want none? But he isn't finished at 168 yet. If Dawson brought more to the table then I'm sure he would get the bigger fights. Sounds like you're a fan scared of the real challenges.
I'd like to see him in against Hopkins then Calzaghe fight the winner, failing that, a re match with Johnson or Diaconu if he wins.

He will probably have been stripped of the IBF title by then, as he doesn't seem to have any intention of fighting Cloud.

I would like to see Chad take at least one fight against an opponent he is not younger than by a decade or more.

Dawson failed to meet this standard in 2008, and, sadly, 2009 is starting off on the same disappointing foot. He ducked Diaconu (30 years old) last year, and he's currently on pace to duck Tavoris Cloud (26) as it stands today. The Diaconu dodge cost Dawson his WBC strap, and it looks as though the Cloud evasion will cost him the IBF title.

I think Kessler just showed interest in Dawson so I'm gonna say Kessler. A fight with Calzaghe would be great too.

Hopefully he does not waste his time on a guy like Diaconu.

The word that came out of Kesslers camp when asked about a fight with Dawson was that they were not interested in fighting Dawson because he was a crusierweight which is a total lie. For what ever reason people either forget this or just plain ignore it.

I dont think that Dawson will get a fight with either Calzaghe or Kessler, but he could get a fight with Diaconu, Johnson, or Hopkins which is the fight that I think is most likely to happen. I would bet that he will fight Hopkins by mid year.

Kessler's promoter called Dawson a Cruiserweight and stated clearly they have no interest of fighting Chad Dawson. It was all over these boards.

Therefore Kessler is out. And if he did face Dawson, it would be a wide, wide points decision win for Bad Chad.

B-Hop is a good test, but Hopkins will probably steer clear of Dawson. And honestly, I wouldn't want to see that fight. Hopkins is rather boring nowadays. He would lose this fight on athleticism, as he did to Taylor...except a little wider, as Chad is twice the fighter JT is.

Scared of challenges? Yeah right. That is why I want to see him rematch Johnson (who won many rounds against him) and Adamek (who had him down and hurt in their fight).
