can someone explain to me whats impressive about margo

- Iron chin
- Excellent size
- Decent power
- Insane stamina/workrate
- Good bodypuncher
- Good variety of punches

 

Margo is a hard ass, the guy dont just eat punches because he sucks, he eats shots so he can get in position to land his.

The problem with him fighting a guy like floyd is that Floyd would land his shots and Margo would have a hard time getting his off. Im not saying that he couldnt beat Floyd but its highly unlikely. I know that some will point to the fight with Castillo as a reason that Margo could and will beat Floyd but they forget that Castillo is a far more skilled and talented fighter then Margo.

Margarito, albeit limited, would give Mayweather trouble. Floyd's not fighting shorty arms Ricky Hatton here, he's fighting a 5'11, physical phenom who will eventually catch with Floyd and be in a position to engage.

Whether Floyd will cope with that is the question, I think he probably would. However Floyd ain't getting any younger. His reflexes might have dulled a bit and Margo could overwhelm him mentally, and then physically.

 

nice to actually read a post bout margarito that has legitmate points.. I agree that he will evntually catch floyd with some shots, but I also feel Floyds chin is underated because of how good his defense is. Up until this point Floyds biggest strengh has been his ability to adapt in the ring and that wil no doubt be the deciding factor in a fight like this..

everyone says Margo should be a Middleweight but even at Super Welterweight he was outweighed on fightnight by 10pounds imagine how tiny he would be at middleweight.

 

Every thing he throws with bad intentions,he's like a wrecking ball!!Chin of steel also....

 

Well he isn't a great technical fighter, but apparently he doesn't have to be to be successful now does he?
