    Rafael says its being talked about. Much more intriguing than Wlad-Arreola.

    This would be a great fight and would either establish Arreola as a legit top 10 hw or another HBO hype job. I reckon the latter :yep

    I think Peter stops him in a wild slugfest. You let Sam Peter fight his fight and he's a dangerous man with that chin and punch.

    Who wins?

    yes but their styles mesh well for tv. neither is top level but the winner gets into the picture. arreola says he likes to get hit and Peter would happy to oblige him :yep

    i'd love to see it

    The being Vitali gave Peter should have his career over in the next few years. Peter didn't have much beyond punching power anyways so in a fight like this I don't think his chin will hold up.

    Sam Peter has been fighting Wlad and Vitali. Arreola has been fighting who exactly...

    Arreola's only advantage is that he hasn't taken sustained punishment like Peter has. Maybe Peter will completly lose his heart but I think this is the type of fight he can win.

    Arreola better fight Peter instead of Wlad or he's gonna get ruined. Wlad would take that swiss cheese defense apart like he did to Nips in sparring. Arreola is a poorman's version of Peter circa 2005. Slower, weaker chin, less power.

    I'm not sure Arreola is much quicker.

    Peter has the better chin. Arreola is the much better combo puncher and has a good workrate. Neither cares much for defense. As I see it, either Peter wins by KO or Arreola wins by decision. Honestly, I have to go with Peter for now. Arreola has made little to no progress in improving his head movement or protecting his noggin when he pulls back. At some point Peter is going to catch him, and if that point comes less than half way through a round, fight's over for Arreola, who also hasn't figured out how to clinch effectively yet.

    This is coming from someone who hates Peter and likes Arreola.

    Arreola is just way more active. If Peter fights lazy the way he's been fighting for a couple of years, I'd say 117-111 for Arreola, if he tries to engage and make a fight of it, he can win maybe 4 or 5 rounds. Anyway, Arreola gets the nod.
    I think neither or them is going to get stopped. I know 99% of y'all think somebody will get KTFO but I just think it would go the distance.

    I think Peter will come in heavier and heavier for his fights. He looked horrible in the Vitali fight the guy has no plan B at all and is as one dimensional as it gets.

    he's more active cause he's fighting nobdies. they let him do anything he wants. Peter looked better beating on bums til he stepped up to Wlad who actually had a gameplan. Peter is active when he can get in close like he did with toney and maskaev. The bros kept him outside. Peter is far stronger than Arreola IMO and has heavier hands.

    where's my boy 40oz? sam peter gonna come back and rule the hws...WOOT WOOT

    Arreola is far less shopworn than Peter so I say he wins a short, entertaining brawl. Nipples by TKO in 5

    I voted for Peter but I'm basing my decision on the Peter that beat Toney and Maskaev since none of us at this point are qualified to discuss how damaged he is mentally after the loss to Vitali.
    Peter would mess Arreola up something awful. Peter may not be pretty but he always find a way to land a punch in the early rounds while he's fresh and Arreola is rather easy to land on especially in the early rounds. The other thing I noticed is that Peter is rather resilient to straight punches and Arreola throws mostly straight punches - that would give the advantage to Peter.
