:verysad Zab won anywhere from 4 to 5 rounds in that Mayweather fight and as I clearly said, was giving Floyd problems for about half the fight. The first half of course as he hurt Floyd on atleast one occassion and should have gotten an extra point for that non official knockdown you know-nothing nuthugging doof.

Ummm, no. Now I know why you rate Mayweather so high. You obviously haven't seen much of the greats at their best.
Mayweather showcased clever footwork when he was being backed up against the ropes? What the hell are you taling about?! Do you have even the slightest idea how to break down a fight technically?

Floyd wasn't using "clever footwork" when he was being backed up by those guys, he was being forced back by an easily landed jab by Oscar who was penetrating that so-called "best defense in history" you talk about... and Hatton was just closing off the gap between them because Ricky has prety damn quick feet himself. No fancy Mayweather footwork had anything to do with that. In fact, it just illustrates my point of how much more flat footed Floyd is at weltwerweight than he is at lower weights.

Watch a few more fights and then debate me inteligently man because you're obviously just a nuthugging fan boy who hasn't the slightest clue what you're talking about.

I have to go with PBF, Leonard doesn't have enough to beat him imo

You forgot to mention the size of SRL's balls. At welter he feared no ****ing body. I'm not even an SRL fan, and never have been, but over 15 rounds Ray would make PBF his ***** just like he did Floyd's daddy!

Come on, skillwise, who would you rather be, Mayweather or Oscar? I pick Mayweather.

Floyd is twice the better fighter than his father. You ****ing gumps. In no way shape or form would this fight be a blow out. SRL would out point Mayweather but he is a natural welter and the bigger guy. SRL wins but it wont be a ****ing wash. They are both guys you dont come across every ****ing day like these other skilless bums in your avatars. ****ing tortillas.

Zab won 3 of the first 4 rounds then lost every single round onwards. Again you are a moron. Stop taking hearsay from this forum and trying to apply it like you actually saw or scored the fight moron. Floyd was never stunned nor hurt. You have no idea what you are blabbering about. Half the fight. :rofl hell, the closest judge had it 116-112. Thats 8-4 dumbass. The other 2 had Floyd winning 9-10 rounds. 9 rounds out of 12 would be the most apt. Like you would know. Zab won 5 rounds. :rofl
I rate Floyd high because he is undefeated over 5 weight classes. Something nobody in the history of the sport has ever accomplished. I rate Floyd high because not only is he undefeated he has dominated most of the top level competition level he has faced. I rate Floyd high, as do most boxing analysts and fans, because his skills today are second to none.

Lay off the crack pipe junior. :good
Obviously I can break down a fight better then you. Floyd doesnt back up in a panic, nor is he doing it for no purpose. Every step Floyd takes in a fight is pre-calculated and aimed at giving him the best advantage at delivering a punch. Watch :45 seconds into this clip. Where Floyd lures Oscar into 2 perfectly timed counters that nearly drop him.

This further proves you are a moron and havent analyzed any of these fights, and only working off hearsay of this forum. I've seen this fight maybe 20 times, so its not wise to try and debate me on it.

Oscar never landed his jab throughout the fight with any authority or any regularity. This is a myth made up by Oscarsexuals and Floyd haters to try and explain why Oscar was so thoroughly dominated down the stretch. In reality, the only round where Oscar showed even close to a sustained jab was round 7, which he still lost. Manny Steward even makes a point during round 3-4 that Oscar is not throwing his jab enough. Oscars jab was largely inneffective and in fact it was Floyds jab that was landing throughout the fight and controlling the pace. From round 8-12 Floyd has Oscar in the middle of the ring, landing at will with a left to the body and a right over top. If Floyd wasnt such a safety first fighter, he could have got Oscar out of there.

You can look at the compubox stats after each round as well. Oscar struggled to land into the double digits. Floyds defense is backed up again by compubox as well. He got hit less in his prime then either Sweet Pea or Roy Jones.

Seriously, learn some **** before you address me son. :good
Ricky Hatton was rushing head first into right hand leads the whole fight. Which was the gameplan Floyd had been training to imploy since the outset. And paid off with Hatton on his ass in the 10th. During the 9th round Floyd lands something like 11 out of 14 jabs and Hatton maybe landed like 2-3 punches the whole round. floyd teas off with the jab and escapes several HAtton charges with excellent foot work.
Your a ****ing moron who wouldnt know a counter uppercut from a jab you silly noob.

These fanboy fights on the forums are immature on this issue. I mean, how can you really know who would win with fighters as skilled as SRL and FMJ. I see no point in attacking anyone's opinion if they think either one would win against the other.

Being a great Floyd fan, this one interests me a great deal.

The fact is, Leonard is the superior Welterweight. He has all of the tools to overcome Floyd in this fight. Floyd will have his moments and win some rounds, but Leonard is the definite favourite here.

There is nothing unfair about it. We're not talking about pitting Batman (sans Kryptonite) against Superman here. Floyd fights at the weight and so it is reasonable to consider these matches. It puts him at a disadvantage when matching him out of his prime weightclasses, but it is still worthwhile.

SRL would put a hurting on Floyd down the stretch. Possibly putting him away late.

A faded Oscar was counterpunched to death and lost clearly. It was also at 154lbs.

Nothing easy about it, but he does win. Floyd is an incredibly smart thinking-fighter, and he would be ad******g as the fight wore on also.
