I would favour a Bernard UD, but a close one. Hopkins only losses to guys with speed and I don't believe Kessler has enough to catch him. I do ont believe it would anywhere near as bad as that Pavlik fight, Kessler is more composed and has a solid jab to keep Bernard off. Either way boring, close fight.
Yea, there is no way Kessler will knock out Hopkins, he may eek out a decision if he somehow gives a masterful performance of his life. In the end this fight would be Hopkins to lose if the Pavlik fight is any indication.
A fight i hope will be made, probably never will because kessler would destroy hopkins. Same would happen if Pavlik fought Kessler at 168 lbs
would love to see this fight happen!!! hopkins would never got knocked out, he would rather get disqualified for dirty tatics!!!! pavlik aint that small, just jumped up in weight to quickly! hes taller than hopkins(which made him a bigger middleweight than hopkins was), and kessler, and in the future may make a good light heavy fighter, so pavlik being small excuse dont wash with me!!
If the version of BHop that boxed Pavlik's ears off faced the version of Kessler that fought Slappy Joe, I'd go with the old fart: 116-112, 116-112, 115-113, would be my best guess.
People that say Kessler would kill Hopkins are either A.) Vastly overrating Kesslers skills or B.) Vastly underratting Hopkins
