Prime Bruce Lee, and he gets 6 months to scout and prepare for the fight.

Never seen him take a punch. Can't say. His skill set would be prime with about 2-3 years training.

Good fight...Lets say Bruce with todays training methods and nutrition and with his wisdom, innovation, athletic ability and dedication will be tough to handle in the lighter weights. His speed in out of this world. And BJ is my favorite MMA fighter by miles.

Id take Bruce, remember Bruce was starting to seriously delve into grappling with Gene Lebelle before he died..And that was 20 years prior to Royce first fight in the UFC

How so? MMA and Penn wasnt even born when Lee was at the pinnacle of Martial Arts. If Bruce had lived later on he would be the type that will be in the middle of MMAs birth.

Although BJ is a beast and p4p the greatest fighter in MMA history if he gets by GSP

That would make him 1-1 with GSP... Not to mention 1-1 with Hughes via embarrassment. But i digress.

Nah BJs a better fighter than Hughes...Like BJ said, just for torture, hell fight Matt a third time..he will more than make up for his loss believe that.

As for GSP, if he beats him and its not razor thin like the SD that GSP defeated him by, then hes got an edge in that matchup as well. And Hughes and Pierre are massive WW, dont even insinuate that Penn is 180 yeah 180 of flab..the only part of his body naturally bigger than those two is his head

Than your definition of GOAT is pretty lame if a person can show up and fight well only when he feels he has the need/desire to. Inconsistency is the opposite of greatness. It is more so in this sport.

Well BJs got a few more fights and theres a bunch of ifs like I said, his past level of competition is as good as anyones, GSP and Hughes included. Lets wait a couple of more years before we label him inconsistent. He still might create a legacy at LW which I believe he will. A legacy comparable to Hughes at WW and Fedor at HW. Lets be realistic here Kenflo aint beating him and Diego will get plain abused.

because bruce lee is the most overhyped piece of media marketing this planet has ever seen..
people watch his movies, watch him bash a punching bag for 30 seconds on grainy black and white footage and they hear a few storys about how he beat up a few other asians and all of a sudden hes the greatest fighter the world never saw..

BJ beats the living **** out of him. 6 months of training isn't going to make up for no fighting experience what so ever.
