If a fighter gets knocked out in their career does that really mean they have a glass jaw? I think some of you are to quick to label someone as having a glass jaw.
Not always. It depends on who knocked them out and how. Also it deals with if they can get up or not. Most fighters with Glass Jaws when they get knocked down they don't get up.
yeah i couldn't believe when i saw chris byrd knock him out..referee had to save his ass and everything
you have forget rahman almost became the first ko win for zuri lawrence before he put it together in the last round
Patterson could get up though. I believe he rose from the canvas for the majority of his knockdowns. See my previous post in this thread.
So does Amir Khan. This idea that getting knocked out cold is the defintion of a glass chin is wrong. That is more to do with how quickly a boxer can recuperate, but a chin is just simple punch resistance. Lennox Lewis, who was knocked out by one punch twice, easily had a better chin than Patterson. It's not even debatable.
Tye Fields Audley has only been starched ONE TIME. Once. Uno. Plus the shot that did it was a monster hook right on the tip of the chin. Tye Fields got rocked clean and out by an even worse puncher.
If you look at Lennox Lewis, the McCall stoppage was bull****, he should have been allowed to continue. The bomb that Rahman hit him with would have KO'd pretty much anybody.
