I don't give a **** about Fraudley. But you're saying Tye Fields has a glass jaw because Barrett knocked him out? Barrett is FAR from light-hitting. He can crack. Light hitting is Malignaggi, Spinks, Calderon, ect.
C'mon, Monte Barrett is not known as a puncher, at all. He's small for a HW. Who the hell else of any note has he ever starched in one round? Guys like Cliff Couser maybe (who also took HIM out)!! Fields is a joke. He fought nothing but tomato cans and as soon as they put him in with anybody even remotely proficient - and Barrett is WAY past his prime, btw - he gets starched. That's a glass jaw if I ever saw one.
I'd go with Khan and Fields. As for Tye, I think it's not only he got knocked out by Barrett, or even that it happened in the first round. It's because he got starched by the first meaningful combination of the fight. Actually, Barrett's first shot rocked Fields and from there it merely was a matter of clean-up. [yt]fIswW0YTgTY[/yt]
No doubt Tye Fields has a glass jaw, but Monte Barrett doesn't qualify at light hitting. The man has busted up some decent guys like Joe Mesi, Owen Beck etc, and he showed a decent punch against Rahman too. The guy can punch when he connects solidly.
Owen Beck has a Glass Jaw also. He was KOed everytime he stepped it up in competition. Barrett has average power and that is being generous.
Monte Barrett is NOT a puncher. Give it up guys, the guy hasn't KO'd anyone that wasn't shaky to begin with. Owen Beck, Joe Mesi, Tye Fields, Erick Kirkland, Damon Reed... all shaky chins. Monte is not a big puncher. He's not featherfisted, but he ain't no power puncher.
I disagree. They usually get it right, but that's only because they call so many glass chins. When a fighter gets knocked out, when he hasn't shown signs of a weak chin, they criticise him for ages and then probably a few weeks later, claim they knew it was coming. When a guy has shown a weak chin, they just predict a knockout loss in all his fights. If it doesn't happen, his opponent has no punch. Or they just jump onto the bandwagon, such is the case with Khan. People on the British forum were saying he had a glass chin before he turned pro, yet Zakman wants us to believe he's the new Nostradamus because he thought Khan would be knocked out after he was knocked down by some featherfisted bum early in his career. People knew Khan had a weak chin well before Zakman had heard of him, which is annoying as he goes around claiming to have "told us all". They cover themselves in so many ways, they do usually get it right. It's easier to spot their rubbish predictions, such as ***an beating Khan....whatever happened to that? Or the prediction that Haye would be beaten by the first decent heavy he fought. Another load of ****. On a side note, just to put your stupid definition of a glass jaw to bed, which fighter had better punch resistance? Lennox Lewis or Floyd Patterson?
Haye has yet to fight a legit top 10 Heavyweight. That is a fact. Barrett is not close to a top 10 Heavyweight. His Glass Jaw will get shattered by Vitali when they fight.
Vitali would shatter a guy with a great chin. That's why he has KO power. You don't necessarily have a glasss jaw if you get KO'd by Vitali.Zuri Lawrence is another deal.
