My wish was granted on September 18, 1999. That night was pure magic, especially the nauseated look on de la Hoya's face when Buffer announced that Trinidad was the winner. I won about 500.00 in bet money at work, which was a lot of fun to collect, and I won enough at the Sportsbook to cover the entire cost of the trip, to include the Bottle of Champagne I purchased at the Bay, to celebrate the end of Oscar's undefeated streak! Watching on December 6th was ok, I can compare it to say, purchasing a Koi fish, putting it in a barrel and emptying my .44 Magnum Ruger "Alaskan" at it, at close range. Similar results.:smoke

I heard one of the broadcasters say that Oscar feels his training was not as good as he would have preferred, so I wonder if he will use that as a reason to try another fight after a different training approach. :huh

    They're both ****ed.

    Meaningless fight.

    Worse than leonard-Duran 3.

All things come to an end.

    Including Oscar and Tito.

    Maybe.

It would provide Felix with a measure of revenge for the schooling he took first time around.

I think he will fight again. I am oposed to PPV on principle I think it is a major factor to boxing loseing it's place among major sports so I would not pay for De La Hoya vs a C level boxer.

I believe he prob doesn't care. I learned ages ago that DLH doesnt care about being respected as a boxer, he just like to be involved in mega events with all the attention that accompanies that. He like to see his name in the papers. He likes to have the cameras around him. He will definitely try to have one more hurrah. Why wouldnt he. Theres nothing preventng him.
