However, I still had it a 60/40 probability of Oscar winning.

That was well before the weigh-in, which gave did give me pause.

But congrats on a near perfect analysis of the fight.

I have The Ring Mag from just before the Pacman fight were 20 boxing identities picked who would win. (People in the sport of boxing that know way more than you and me Nallege.

It was 18 picked Oscar

2 picked Pacman.

Timothy Bradley was one and the other was David Diaz's Trainer.

They were the only ones to pick Pacman.

Oscar was the clear fav no excuses.

He got beat.

Get over it.

For me it was a quality a win. If people rate Hatton for beating a 35 year old Tszyu which they do you have to give Pacman credit aswell.

Its a quality win. NO IFS BUT ABOUT IT. If you said to me 3 or 4 years ago that Pacman would beat the **** out of Oscar Dela Hoya at 147 one day i would have told you not a ****in hope in hell that would ever happen.

Pacs CV is no better now than it was at the beginning of the year, although it was pretty damn good then. Barely beating Marquez (I would have given it to JMM), beating David Diaz (big deal) and defeating a husk that used to be Oscar adds absolutely nothing to it other than a name.

PBF v Margo may not be a bigger fight than Pac v PBF but it is certainly the one I would pay to watch.

So I guess he's a better judge than most of your Ring experts.

Me, I picked Oscar, but I said it was a serious and legit fight and gave Pac a 40 % chance to win.

I credited him with the win afterwards.

The scales made Oscar look stupid, plain and simple. Beating a weight drained, shop worn and static legend and then claiming it as a great victory stinks of something that Calzaghe would do. Oscar looked stupid alright, but it was nothing to do with MAnny. If the Pacman wanted to test himself at welterweight why didn't he pick a live opponent? Cotto or Margo for instance...I think that we already know the answer to that.
