If Peter shows up in shape or even maybe not at his best he will KO Arreola. If he shows up like he did against Vitali and he will be KO'd.
Yep i agree here he should take a little test with sam first and knock his ass out than maybe he can be ready for Wlad.
I have to go with Peter on this for 2 reasons. 1) He has beaten the better fighters. 2) Much better chin.
i think Arreola might outwork him at this point... the last time i was impressed by peter was his second win over james toney.... and even if he knocks arreola down, hes going to get back up and keep coming at Peter, i just see him outworking peter bigtime, wanting it more... and winning a decision. but honestly id love to see this fight, and it makes soooooo much more sense then wlad vs arreola at this point.... Peter vs Arreola, make it happen.....
This is the thing, they are pretty much 'top level'. The division is sooo poor. A wild match with Peter stopping Arreola in 7/8/9 rounds.
if the fat latino knows whats best for him, hed fight 1 more tomato and the ibf will make him #1 after povetkin, and he can get his big money shot, before he is sent to jorneyman status.. Peters a way less paying, and very dangerous fight for him at this stage
this fight could be a poor man's tua-ibeatahootchie. could be pretty exciting, but surely not as exciting as that one. my money would be on arreola.
it took peter six rounds to stopp ol' glass jawed oleg, peter doesn't have the sharp precise punches that would be needed to stop arreola.
Well, you know Sam Peter wouldn't stand there befuddled like he was against Vitali with his lateral movement and hammer-like jab. The styles match up here. Peter is just an average fighter, but I give Peter the edge on chin, power and higher-level experience. Arreola is less than average. His spotlight is more a product of Goossen's careful matchmaking and savvy promotional skills. I see Arreola as being at the level of a tough, game Toughman contest winner. Peter wins this one by stoppage.
