cotto is a good fighter but his defensive lapses are too much to overcome in against the elite. hell, he barely beat an ancient non-roided shane mosley.

If anyone should fight Willians then it's the man who lost to him and is running away from a career high payday to fight for HALF the amount in Margarito.

Cotto just got brutally KO'd and is better off trying to redeem his self than get a fight with Mayweather, if they even rush him in there against Mayweather(doubtful, as Arum would rather save him for someone in his stable) then he gets KO'd again.

 

If this holds any water, then good. He should not face anyone other then Pac or Margarito. Of course Williams would be acceptsble, but I don't think he'd face Williams no matter how much money can be brought into negotiations. Highly doubtful he faces anyone though. He's probably just pulling a "DLH" and keeping his name out there to talk about. Floyd's retired, and becoming an afterthought. Just like when all big names retire, someome will take their place.

 

I would'nt mind a Floyd/Pacquiao fight but obviously I would rather see him take on Margarito but unfortunately he would never fight him.:-(

Yeah, definitely down with Floyd vs. Pac. But true, Floyd wil never face Margarito. After all these years of changing his excuses or false promises, it's just obvious he doesn't think he can beat him.

 

Lance do you think that maybe Floyd is doing on waiting on Margo to go to more war's and then get him when he began's to faded and almost shot later on cause Mosley is another war and then the Cotto rematch as well thought's.

 

Hey Lance remember the poster smoochp?......Well he is close with Floyd family and he even has pics of Floyd two sisters at his wedding and he was telling me how he spoke to a guy named Sam Watson who is apart of Floyd management team and that guy told Smooch straight up that they are willing to let Floyd face Cotto but not Margarito and when Smooch asked why he said because he would lose to Margarito, I know I told you this before but like I said Smooch has no reason to lie, and it's obvious that Floyd also feels he would lose to Margo also.

 

Who knows. I would hope not. That's just a lame tactic no matter who does it. Not to mention Floyd would look like an ass if he refused to fight when Margarito was in his prime as opposed to making a fight when Margarito was showing wear and tear.
