Why do you say his chin wasn't solid? When was the last time you saw Pacquiao knocked down??

As I suspected, you are a Boxrec warrior. Get your dumb ass onto youtube and watch the fights where Pac was KO'd. You will then see that they had nothing to do with his chin. Your lack of knowledge and bias towards Hamed in this instance have been exposed. Good night.

I've seen Pacquiao hurt in quite a few of his recent fights, including; Marquez I, Marquez II, and Barrera II. He doesn't have chin issues, but he is more liable to get hurt in a gun fight with Hamed at 126 than The Prince is, in my estimation. Perhaps the power would not be the story of the fight, as I felt Pacquiao did a really good job at picking his shots for the straight left in his fights with Hoya, but at 126, Pacquiao was not the finished article.

The simple facts are as Nassem got closer to his goal of being a legend as he put it, his skills and speed started to leave him because he was a party animal and a lazy *******! plus leaving Brendan Ingel was a massive mistake, it spilt Sheffield boxing apart, he trained for the camera in some posh Hotel, while MAB was in Big Bear training like demon.

He concentrated more on the showmanship and less on the performance, his early fights are the best and a treat to watch, at 28 he was probably at the biological age of 38, he claims to be a Muslim but he drank like a sailor and did lots of Ecstasy and was in every night club until sun up, nobody needs to defend him, he pissed away what could or should have been a great legacy, you get film actors/stars that OD and die at their peak, boxers would die to but they are just a little fitter than the average bear.

This is the usual backlash you get when you catch out someone who is commenting on something they know nothing about. I'm not kidding, I want to help educate you, go onto youtube and watch the fights where Pac gets stopped, and then you have permission to come back on and apologize for being wrong.

I would be more inclined to accept the "past his prime" excuses had Hamed looked less vulnerable against second tier competition. A lot of the times, he didn't. He was with Ingle at the time of the Kelley fight, and he had yet to really establish himself as a star across the pond. He looked like **** in that fight, getting hit and caught off balance, knocked down multiple times, and all against a really average and weak-hearted Kelley.

I just feel that Barrera was one of the greatest fighters in the world during 2000-2003, who was found to be more talented and hungrier than Hamed.

some misconceptions about pac not being that good in the lower weights:

at 122 where pac stayed long, ko'ed all his opponents except for agapito sanchez who escaped with a draw and was on the way to be stopped if not for the use of illegal and dirty tactics.

at 126 he stopped MAB who is the #3p4p best fighter in the world that time and had a draw (should be a win if not for a judge's error) with the most avoided fighter in the lower weights of that time, JMM.

The familiar whine of defeat from an owned poster...

I haven't heard it since I embarrassed you for trying to say that Richie Woodhall and Robin Reid were better fighters than Sumbu Kalambay, Michael Watson, Steve Collins and Herol Graham.

Hit youtube and you can privatemail me your apology tomorrow.

    G'night loser! :hi:

Styles make fights, and beating MAB is no indication that he would do the same thing to Hamed at 126.

I had JMM winning that fight, I thought he put on a Boxing clinic for the last 10 rounds. I felt really bad for him after his gigantic effort.

I think if anything the fight with JMM showed just how hittable Pacquiao is, and not to mention how he likes to let fighters off the hook. JMM was really ready to go, and if Pacquiao's punching power lived up to its reputation here on the General Forum's, it should have been over in the first round and if not, most defiently the second. Possibly more credit goes to the will of Dinamita, however.

I see Hamed vs Pacquiao being a fight against two pretty hard hitters, two fast fisted fighters, who both had leaky defences at 126.
