Well for starter he is NOT the first to win titles in FW and LW....again Henry Armstrong not opnly held those two titles but add WW simultaneously...now that is history...that's waht I am saying...
Then you are very very wrong. Pacquiao: FLY. Armstrong: FEATHER. Two different weight classes. I was correct in my initial post.
Manny Pac - Awesome fighter bordering on top all-time greatness. Should stay to fighting at 140 and under unless a welterweight catchweight fight can be made with Floyd. And although he's rated #1 p4p, I still consider Floyd and JMM better fighters. Joe Cal - Prety much what eze wrote. Great fighter, but his resume doesn't impress me much. Antonio Margarito - A ****ing machine with nothing but a relentless workrate, and an iron chin. A rematch with Williams would be good right now and Floyd will likely never fight him for obvious reasons. (Do I smell chicken ****?) :yep Kelly Pavlik - Still a great fighter despite the loss to Hops. He's still a beast at middleweight where he can dominate for as long as he wants as I think he's unbeatable at that weight and that includes Abraham. Although I think he'll be moving to 168 sometime soon where he may or may not have great success. That remains to be seen. Bernard Hopkins - Age doesn't mean a damn thing to this guy. Already an established all-time great. Has nothing left to prove and probably should retire, but will likely have a few more fights before it's all said and done.
Manny Pacquio: Simply incredible, and a boat load of fun to watch. Joe C: A waste of a very talented fighter. Generally grossly over rated on ESB, but may be the best SMW of all time. Magarito: An absolute beast of a man. "The Tijuana Tornado" is an absolutley pefect nick name. Kelly Pavlik: The best middleweight in the world. Very fashionable to hate on him on ESB, but next summer he'll stop Abraham in 8 rounds or less, and that might change. Hopkins: Absolutely amazing. He should retire from the ring and became a full time trainer.
Manny Pacquiao- Please stay at 135 and clean out the division while you still have your prime. we could use another duran, and I would hate to see him loose based soley on being outweight by his challenger(tough to tell if an over the hill oscar was enough of a test). earned #1 p4p Joe Calzaghe-incredible fighter, but overrated. barley beat a way over the hill roy, and IMO lost to bhop fair and square. needs a big win to secure his top 5 p4p ranking though all time he's still great. Antonio Margarito- again, overrated, but is definatly a beast at 147 and indeed a warrior. never a dull moment, unbelievable chin, needs a rematch with PW at 154 this time. would loose to floyd. Kelly Pavlik- cant believe how slow he looked against Hops. tough to tell wether he is overrated or just ran into one of the greatest tacticians of all time. his piston like punches are powerful, but lack speed. would loose to abraham BHop- that old saying about old dogs and new tricks is bull****. age seems to somehow excentuate hopkins ability. impossible to doubt what this man is capable of. unfortunatly should retire soon, while he is on top. is a nightmare head to head for almost anyone close to his weightclass ever.
Manny Pacquiao - The Best P4P ifighter in the world. A cool guy. A good man. Calzaghe - An arrogant ***** with decent skills and a good career that deserves respect. Margarito - Is a great welter, fearless & strong. Pavlik - Not as good as Abraham. Hopkins - A legend. But not my cup of tea.
pac - loves to eat goat, medium rare AM - loves to eat punches, he digests it well then let his opponent eat some of his. Most can't eat his punches (although with some exceptions) Bhop - i don't know what he eats to stay virtually young at 43 y/o
Manny Pacquiao - great Joe Calzaghe - ***** of late Antonio Margarito - hardy Kelly Pavlik - overrated BHop - great
agree agree (tough but limited but TOUGHHHHHH) agree agree agree (apart from against Pavlik and Trinidad)
How can Juan Manuel Marquez not be the best fighter out there today? After two fights with Manny ....the oly thing that separates them is ONE point. A much more accomplished fighter than Manny....and Manny wants no part of Marquez anymore. ( I know someone will post that the money is not there...too bad though )
Manny Pacquiao - Top 35 ATG at the moment for me, greatest fighter of our era, P4P King, what else is there to say? Joe Calzaghe - highly overrated, had a great win over Kessler, and a very close fight with Hopkins, + he's a slapper, but still....a very talented boxer bull**** aside, ATG imo Antonio Margarito - hmmm.......limited brawler, C class skills, wide punches, slow hands, but has a granite chin, excellent heart, and excellent workrate, and good power, i'd hate to say it but, even though he has no skills he's still a very good fighter, no great but stilll very good Kelly Pavlik - the most overrated fighters since Jeff Lacy, KO's a bunch of bums, low B class fighters, and beats Taylor twice and he and other people think he's the next great middleweight king of the era, bull****........Abraham would take his heart away and put him to sleep, he's a good fighter but by no means great, or a P4P fighter, he and his record has just benefited from a very weak division BHop - Top 40 ATG, the most crafty fighter of our era, and an absolute warrior even though he's 40+ he still takes the best fights out there (avoiding Chad Dawson aside), the mans a legend
