He was shot. When your legs are only there the first few rounds you are shot. Not to mention he was extremely weight drained.
Does anyone have a picture of him at the weigh in. He was litterally a skeleton.

A fighters legs are always the first thing to go.

His legs were gone in the first fight. Manny will never beat a prime Morales.

What we should be talking about was how great Morales fought Pac in the 1st fight even though he was past his prime. Instead of trying to make him out like hewas in his prime during his Pac fights

The Raheem fight pretty much sealed the deal for all boxing fans that Morales would not beat PAc in a rematch. Pac fans use proof that Morales couldn't beat Raheem at 130, then point to a guy Raheem lost to lol. No, Morales could not even deal with Raheem at all, and that is why when Morales went back down to 130, we all knew he was pretty much done. Was Morales shot no, was Morales done fighting at the highest level...yes. See the Raheem fight for details. As long as you know Morales wasn't prime, that's all I care about. PAc has fought fighters who were a step away from being shot, and you phoiny PAc fans says he retired fighters lol, what a joke. Morales was a step away from being shot. How do we know? After losing his fight with Raheem, check his record after that fight:dead

Pac fans will ry to convince you that PAc is greater than Barrera, Morales and J.M.M right now lol. You look at the fights those guys were in, and then check and see how many PRIME fighters PAc fought and you quickly find out why PAc is overrated by many.

Barrera to many fans beat Morales 3 times. Barrera wasn't prime when he fought PAc either. Barrera's last great fight imo was the Hamed fight. Beating Morales was good, but I never thought Morales even won their first fight. People talked about Barrera being done before he made a great showing against Morales in fight 1. At least that was the talk then youngens.

maybe Pacs body atck had something to with those legs being gone in the second fight.Pac did a tremendous job to Morales body in the second fight something he didnt consistently do in theyre first fight.

also wearing Reyes gloves instead of those pillow gloves gloves Morales loved makes a big diference too.

anyway Morales was past his prime but he wasnt shot.

And watch the 2nd fight with Pac at 130lb vs the fight with Raheem at 135lb where he looked pudgy. I dont know why people keep making out like thats the Same Morales that turned up to Pac-Morales II...it very clearly isnt. If anything, the Morales that turned up from Pac-Morales 1 was on that night, Pac just stepped up his game, didnt get cut and had his gloves which caused more pain.

Watch the fight...his reflexes was sharp, he pulled the trigger, he had warrior mentality, he was fast and certainly had stamina to keep up that pace for 10 rounds.

As for Morales looking different from his prime, Most ocnsider his prime 122...of course a 29yr old 130lb fighter is gonna look different from a 22 122lb fighter!

He came in overweight 5lbs north of his fighting weight fighting Raheem. Thats like saying Hatton was shot after a lackluster performance against Luis Collazo at 147lb. You have to be blind to not see the difference between the Morales that turned up for Raheem & the Morales that turned up for Pac 2.

Morales was game as hell and had that not been Pac there, he woulda won. That fight shot Morales, that showed on how easy Pac beat him in the 3rd fight vs the 2nd...that is obvious so reffering to Morales record after that fight is irrelevant.
