I think i'm going with Pacquiao who won WBC super featherweight and lightweight titles and beat a legend in DLH.

Many guys didn't think that Pac was going to win but me ... even so people who are deep in the fight game.

    It's Pacquiao by a distance.

    Then maybe Hopkins.

    Then Calzaghe.

    Then Wlad.

    Then Margo.

    IMO.

I personally have Vic Darchinyan as fighter of the year, due to my subjective opinion that he won vs. Gorres, rate Kirilov over David Diaz and the Mijares win is clearly above the shot Oscar (I predicted he will be shot) and the JMM decision, which was a loss for PacMan on my scorecard. Then again: it's a subjective pick, but I scored these fights as any other, so I'm basing my opinion on my cards insted of the judges'.

It's very close and PacMan is there as a deserving candidate (as well as Margarito)... just Darchinyan did so well this year against the odds, I have to go with him. You can count in a bit of 'attention whoring', but it's not about me but about Darchinyan who deserves more attention and credit.

No one even mentions his name anywhere despite his victory was Hopkins-Pavlik and Margarito-Cotto combined: both extemely dominating and a brutal knockout of Mijares, a PROVEN top3 technician P4P.

Who did Wlad beat to be placed before Margo, who beat Cintron and Cotto?

Margo has to be second for what he did this year as a wehole not just one fight. Like Hopkins who was great against Pavlik but lost to Calzaghe.

Calzaghe gets credit for the Hopkins win but is was still close and Jones was just not a great win, other than for the name recognition.

    1 Pac
    2 Margo
    3 Hopkins
4 Vitali: Like it or not to straight back into a title fight, after all those years out and win a HW title, make the guy quit on his stool, is worth a nod (even if it was against Peter).

    1 calzaghe
2 margario (but no complaint with him #1)--Cotto was a very impressive victory, if was for not hopkins fight with palvik, i would of had margarito on top with this victory alone, not counting cintron......
3 pac-man (DLH was shot, very shot, an he was there for the check) So does diaz an marquez warrent a FOY title,,,NO,
