At 45y/o, Big George created history by taking a portion of the H/W title from Michael Moorer... basically, via one concussive blow, after the medium punishment having been dished out through the course of the fight.

Holyfield, at 46y/o, still resembles a more than handy H/W, both physically and effectively. Granted, Val is not a tap-dancer.... yet Holy DID look very mobile for his age.

Pitted against one another, this might be something more than viewable.... perhaps more so than the majority of recent H/W offerings.

George at 45 vs Holyfield at 46..... Whats the opinions???

    Holyfield for mine. UD.12

Hmm, I think Holy edges it, he is way past his best, but that is still way better than 9/10 fighters at h/w

I believe Evander would take this, probably a-la the Valuev fight.

George. He had the power to keep Holy off him.

I don't think he would stop him, but I think he hurt him enough to get a UD.

Fair enough... If Holy used caution, which would be rare anyway, do you see a boring points win going to Holy?? Not unlike the result of the Val fight... albeit, with a well judged decision..

94 George would plea-bargain down to manslaghter or reckless endangerment w/credit for time served. He can afford good lawyers. OJ was a chump. :deal

    Definitely Foreman.

The prime Holy edged him out about 8-4 if I remember.

That Foreman would kill the Holyfield who faced Valuev.

    Foreman by knockout here too...

Much more capable of letting his hands go than Holyfield (he managed 50 punches a round against the mobile Moorer, Holyfield just around 16 against the highly immobile Valuev).

    The heavier puncher.

Much less wear & tear than Holyfield has, so he'd be able to endure more punishment.

Holyfield could try to box 'n' move against him I suppose but Foreman's heavier shots and busier work would see him win that battle too.

At best for Holyfield it would be a wide points loss...a bit Riddick Bowe vs Larry Donald, if you've ever seen that fight.

Foreman had a much higher workrate and punch output than Evander does now.
