Prime Prince Naz vs Prime Juan Manuel Marquez

Hamed gets systematically dismantled.

 

I went for Marquez.

He would have to be on his guard the whole time though, and just try and box Hamed for a decision; Prime Hamed (with the reflexes, the power and the unorthodox style) is a handful for anyone at feather in the H-2-H sense. Don't be fooled by the kd's Hamed suffered in his career; he's got a very good chin, and Marquez is not gonna take him out (however he could catch him off-balance and put him down once or twice).

If Marquez "thinks" he has Hamed in trouble and tries to openly trade with him, then Hamed will drop him hard and he will not beat the ten count.

Marquez sticks to a slick counter-punching style and he wins this one.

 

Marquez is so complete, difficult for Pac let alone Hamed. Good chin too so no, Hamed cannot win imo but against Pac, Hamed has a better chance.

 

Remember what Barrera did to Hamed? Well, Juan Manuel would do just about the same thing.

 

Marquez by wide, and punishing UD.

 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! That's the funniest damn thing I've ever read! Naz's bull**** style would be no match for Marquez. Naz could hit, but let's not get carried away here. Marquez handled Pacquiao's power fine. Marquez has never been KO'd.

 

i will say naz would win by ko but it is a close fight to call

 

A prime Hamed is at least 50/50 against any featherweight you care to name.

 

handled pacs power fine??? he got floored four times in 2 fights...naz is a bigger puncher than pac and a better finisher...he may not be able to get to JMM but if he did he would surely finish him...handling someones power is not getting floored 4 times:deal

 

I believe that...he either gets outboxed or he hurts anyone and they are ko'd

 

u see what darchinyan did to mijares....it can go both ways..the boxer doesn't always beat the boxer puncher with an unorthodox style...why do poeople always pick out ONE fight out of 40 and say this is why...it was one fight vs a prime MAB...he had a bad fight...i am not a big fan of naz or jmm...I think they are both great fighters but very different...it is hardly a mismatch

I always find it quite amusing how criminally under-rated Hamed is on ESB, at least in the general forum. All the negative criticisms of him seem to have been "proven" by one fight. A fight which came at the end of his career, a fight for which he barely trained, a fight against a top class opponent, a fight which he lost on points. Apparently, the fact that he unified the division, beat several world champions, and beat most of his opponents by early KOs counts for nothing. People really should watch more than one fight before they judge a man's entire career.

 

Hamed lost one fight, on points. He was never knocked out, no one ever scored anything against him other than a few flash knockdowns, he was never hurt. How exactly does that mean he has a glass jaw? Are you joking, or just not very bright?
