Mike Tyson never really stared down that much. He usually looked off to the side. Only till he came out of prison did he start to stare down.

Obviously everyone on this site believes that boxing has only been around for about 20 years or so.

George Foreman or Sonny Liston. Fighters have said that they couldn't look them in the eyes or experienced diarreha. One of Listons opponents actually left the ring and had to be coaxed back after a delay and threats of harm.

I was always impressed with Lennox's stare against Vitali.

I think Vitali's stare makes him look like a soft lad.

Tyson's staredown may not have been the meanest looking but it sure as hell was the most intimidating. How many boxers lost the bout during those first few seconds with Tyson and the ref? Poor old Frank (Bruno) didn't even get to the ring before the fight was lost!

Maybe I'm getting 'aura' confused with 'staredown' when it comes to Tyson?

  13. 1-Liston no doubt :deal

2-George Foreman- looks at you like you shot his dog..

3-Lennox Lewis- always had that don't **** with me look, like Tony Montana in Scarface;)
