huh? are you serious? Oba carr 32-0 , Campas 56-0, Vargas 20-0, Reid 14-0, Joppy, Mayorga, etc. all those guys were still "in it" and had only one or two defeats or were undefeated. He actually beat reigning champs at 147, 154, 160, not vacant titles or none of that ****. He defended is title at 147 like 17 times, he unified at welter, at 154, beat the champion joppy at 160. To say he has never faced anybody who wasn't in it is ridiculous.

Idiot, I am reminding everyone of your gay colleague Oscar de la Fishnets. Am I the one with a picture of my butt in a mostly male boxing site? No. Homo.

So you're using photoshopped pics of Oscar to ''remind'' people of the vicious rumour? LOL, the excuses people use.

Why bring PBF into this? I am not comparing him to Tito. You just said something which I thought was untrue: That Tito never beat any one who wasn't past it. He beat five undefeated fighters , moved up in weight and he beat reigning champs at 147, 154, 160, was one of the longest, if not the longest, reigning welter , defending like 17 times, . How can you say he fought only bums? I honestly don't get it bro. But whatever we agree to disagree then.

James Toney's resume is considerably better IMO.

Tito has a strong resume, but when you take Toney's mw/smw res '91-'94 (Nunn, McCallum, Barkley, Littles) and add his later career wins (Jirov at cruiser, stoppage of Holyfield, Guinn and Booker at hw, plus impressive hw performances against Peter I, Ruiz, Rahman), then I see Toney as a clear winner here.

Tito's best win was Oscar and he did not deserve that decision. After that, you're looking at Vargas or a shot Whitaker as Tito's best win. For me, Toney's wins over Jirov, Nunn, McCallum and Holyfield (considering it was at hw) are all better.

Tito doesn't have stellar wins (though Vargas was a great one), but his general standard of opposition was strong, so he has a good resume but it does not compare to Toney's IMO.

    Yep, Dinamita.

Easily James Toney. I've never been sold on Trinidad's in relation to his actual standing. Whereas things Toney has done boggle the mind.

I don't know enough about the details of Toney's resume to judge this properly, but when you look a Tito's resume, it is very strong, especially if you count the 'w' over Oscar as an actual win. And another thing, not related to the original question at all; Tito was a hell of an athelete and a great proffesional, can't say the same about Toney I'm afraid.
