Paulie...you left out the all important hyphen in KLIT-ites.

Haye should have held out for WLAD, and not allowed the KLIT Flip though.

It would set up the biggest HW fight since Holyfield-Tyson in Wlad-Haye so I agree it would be very good for boxing.

For Boxing? I dont know, but for the Heavyweight division it would be a breath of fresh air. Haye is not exactly my cup of tea, but that guy has a personality, exciting style, and is attractive in appearence, something that helped DLH become the highest grossing PPV fighter in the history of the sport.

I hope Haye beats Vitali, it would more and likely wake the division up of it's drug induced sleep, which has now been 5 years and counting since Lewis' last fight, which was the last good heavyweight title fight the world has seen.

Statements like these imply that the long-term success of boxing is contingent upon certain results. I wasn't aware that boxing was a living thing. The sport, and the heavyweight division in particular, will be here long after these two men have hung up the gloves. If you're a David Haye fan, a Haye victory will be good for you.

I agree a Haye victory would be great because Vitali is the last resort for the Klits. Imagine Wlad and Vitali being knocked cold by the cruiser champ in the same year? An awesome shake up :)

keep dreaming guys. hypejob haye has no chance and i got a lifetime ban bet open for anyone who says otherwise

most of u r letting ur childish hate for the KLITS cloud your better judgement and ignoring his GLARING faults. Haye will fight either wlad or vitali (doesn't matter which one) get dominated, then everyone will ***** about how boring the KLITS are and how shitty the division.

and sug your KLIT FLIP theory needs some work :yep

i don't see it...it's hard to say but haye makes a better villain than hero. tyson at his best (aka most profitable) was a hero. a short, underdog story than was mean as **** and beat up everyone. but he was LIKELIABLE. haye is a twat. a talented twat but a twat. you can't get behind that. the public will not suddenly rally behind him, he will not resurge the heavyweight division for the same reason mayweather couldn't do it while he was on top. a lot of talk yes, but no one wanted to have a pint with the mother****er. no one wants to hang with or can relate to male model haye. they want to see his face caved him. and they'll pay 49.95 to see vitali do it

Haye got a personality, something neither Klit has, while Vitali is a very enertaining fighter, I get the sense he wont be around for long, even if he does beat Haye, so that just leaves Wlad to rule the division that is severely lacking star power.

I hope Haye wins, even though he's not someone I would normally like, I feel he got the best chance of reviving a dead division.

Whats the difference between Haye and Oscar? There both good looking, and give great exciting fights to there fans for the most part, Haye can easily be the next DLH IMO.

Or it would set up a Vital Haye rematch.

They don't always have to avenge the other's loss. Vitali may want another crack at Haye.

i have to agree with the DLH analogy. He does share a lot of traits...even though DLH didn't have leonard or ali like charisma he was huge. i just see haye missing something. he's like DLH but trash talks like toney. toney is a street kid, so you believe it. but haye is a ****ing pretty boy. either way, he's talented and if he can calm down in the ring and keep his ****ing left hand up (that drives me nuts) he could take out just about anyone and talk his way to the mainstream. how far he goes though i'm not sure of

...but it is an interesting and past used application of the KLIT Flip.

It can't be doubted that David Haye is a good thing for the heavyweight division. I've rewatched the VITLAY - Peter fight a few times and even though I still lean towards VITLAY I think Haye has a genuine shot at beating the guy at this point. If he does that then WALDO for the first time ever finds himself in the position where he has to avenge a loss for his big brother, and I don't think he will. VITLAY even at this advanced age is the harder fight for the Hayemaker, and he has a genuine shot of beating the guy.

Also, to call Haye a 'twat' is just ignorant, he's a decent guy and a real student of the sport.

Fair enough, I feel Haye can be a force in the division in the coming years, my only fear is that his chin may be exposed before that, the question should be answered after he fights Vitali, if he beats him in stunning fashion, he will be clearly the man to beat in the division.
