haye has a ton of talent so here's hoping he becomes something. i don't know if he's what the division needs but a lot should be taking from he victory over barrett. it was quickly discounted but mesi had a ton of trouble with him and he was destroyed by haye. vitali and he will be a barometer...course the problem is vitali is FAR better than his brother so if haye wins, yeah, he's the ****. course i'd take george chuvalo over all of them :)

Barrett was also knocked outagainst Valuev a few years back, so it's really tough to say how good Barrett is. As far as the Mesi fight is concerned, that fight was back in 03 I believe, 5 years is a long time, and trust, Barrett was a much better fighter then, than he is now.

true, barrett is no longer what he once was (which wasn't anyone much) but haye against anyone who is legitimate top 30 knocking him down 5 times is pretty good. i would like to say against:

    1)Brewster
    2)Larry Donald
    3)Sultan

That should give an idea what he's got in em

Brewster- one of my favorite fighter of the 2000's, but his fight against Liakhovich took way too much out of him, and is now no longer a threat to most of the top 10 in the division. His skills are sub-par, but what made him hard to beat was his will to win and top notch chin, both of which I question wether or not he has anymore, the way he used to, Haye wins by TKO in the 9th round.

Larry Donald- wonderful foot movement in his prime, pretty quick hands, and a pretty good chin, though in recent fights he's begining to show his age, Haye would murder him in 6 rounds and it prove nothing to me.

A Sultan fight would be his toughest fight out of the 3, Sultan has good reflexes, pretty fast hands, and underrated power, I feel Haye will be in a tough fight from start to finish, though I see Haye hurting Povetkin late and more likely finishing him around 10th round. This fight would prove alot, considering Wlad couldnt finish his oppenent in 12, less than a year ago.

    very good analysis.

1)i was looking at brewster from 2003-5, which (you're right) is long gone

2)donald even now good provide good movement and angles and wouldn't get run over but yeah, would lose by knockout

3)sultan is the only of the three that could beat haye...but probably wouldn't. if he could take sultan, he's got my respect

I hope and think Vital bets Haye but a Haye win would be great for the HW division.

I think wlad is the tougher fight cuz of his jab and safety first approach and he is far more active as far as amount of fights recently...but for haye to beat either one would be good for me
