what was he like 46, 45 maybe in the ring 100? that's ****ing pathetic!!! zab judah placed higher than him! zab ****ING judah. along with jorge barrios who had one fight all year, kelly pavlik (who got his ass kicked by hopkins yet barely fell...) and a buch of other lower weight fighters who would need a stool to kiss wlad's ass. objectively now he's a top 20 based on opposition and **** kicking of oppotsition. no one puts him in the top 30 for some unknown reason...i don't like his style, or his aggression but nor do i like his reluctance to man up in the ring but he's earned it. he's disrespected, underrated and **** on

I want to see Wlad-Valuev in 2009, it would be interesting to see how Wlad deals with a guy, 6 or 7 inch taller than him and will out weigh him by 70lbs, and Valuev has a head of stone it's hard to see him KO'D, and Valuev always seems to get the benefit of the doubt from the judges, this fight if it comes off needs to be in Vegas or New York..

The Ring sells copies to Latinos and Americans. Those are the two biggest subscriber groups by far. Very few Ukranians among the subscribers...

The Ring is a company. They want to sell copies of their magazine... so they couldn't care less how good Wlad really is or isn't. They sell more magazines every time a latino or an american is on the cover, in their top 10 p4p etc.

Its just business.

 

I hate to be disrespectful, but I have to: the remarks you make here are absolutely stupid. Vlad has cleaned out the heavyweight division; for you to claim he only fights is completely unreasonable.


The argument that Vlad is a poor fighter because, supposedly, he is not exciting is also utter mindlessness. The object in boxing is to win...and Vlad does so against the division's best in an utterly dominant and effective way.

 

I have always liked wlad even after he got ko'd...took alot to come back from that ****,,,he systematically destroys everyone that is in the ring with him

 

He is one of the most disregarded champions in boxing, yet he's closer than anyone in the HW division to becoming an ATG.

 

I can't possibly seeing haye beating wlad....I will have some big money on wlad if they fight...might not be pretty but he is just too good behind his jab
