Agreed. :good Pac's science has sweetened over the years and his in and out movement combined with his ability to mix up his punches will inevitability confuse Hatton and wear him down. Although Hattons head movement was descent against Malugnaggi it still isn't where it needs to be for him to be successful against Pac's attack. Pac will pick him off when he trys to get inside and the straight left hand will land at will. Hatton's only chance in my mind is to fight the same despicable way as he did against Tszyu in which he habitually held Tszyu's arm and hooked him to the body; and that might only work if he gets a ref who will allow it. I'm guessing a 8th round TKO for Pac.

Hatton will be too much for Pac, wins by TKO.

    A bit of perspective.................

I do think Pac is quicker than Hatton, but not nearly as much as is being suggested. He was made to look much faster by a handpicked Diaz and a dead at the weight DLH.

Pac hasn't faced a quality live opponent above 130 - though this is in hindsight obviously but true.

Hatton hardly held at all in the Paulie fight, it was Paulie doing all the hugging when he was close to being taken out.

    Additionally......

Please stop with the Diaz comparisons. Hatton is bigger, stronger, better chin, bigger puncher, better defence, faster hands and movement, better ringsmarts.

We will see in this fight how effective Pacquiao is on the back foot, because there is no way he will be pressuring Hatton, it will be the other way round.

    50-50 affair.

Pac's footwork and speed will be the main key to beat up hatton. Hatton needs to push pac to the ropes and stay very close and battle him in that manner.

Hatton has better footwork than Pac though. He is second to none at cutting off the ring.

There was a post before regarding the size between these two.

I remember Pac having the bigger body structure...except for the thighs...but the rest..(chest, waist, reach, wrist, neck, biceps..etc..) i dont think Hatton can bully Pac because Pac keeps his opponent in the middle of the ring.

Malignaggi is not competitive as Pac. He's a one handed fighter as compared to Pac who fights w/ his two fists. Hatton looked good in that fight w/ a very inferior fighter Paulie.

Bigger guys are normally slow fighters. Pac's weapon is his speed as shown in his previous fights. Hatton would get hit w/ two to three punches even he could come forward.

i will make a "NO EXCUSES" thread for those who are really confident that their boy will win this fight for both sides when the fight is signed and just a couple of months away. it's just too frustrating with all the "EXCUSES" flying after a fight when they are singing a different tune before it.

Hattons showing signs of a slight improvement now that he`s got a pure boxing trainer in his corner. That showed against Malignaggi. He will build on that and although Pacquiao beat Dela Hoya, Dela Hoya was nothing like he was.Hattons still in his prime, improving i don`t think its a dead cert that Pacquiaos going to win as good as he is.Don`t know what Dobyzee`s on about but its Hatton who is the biggest body puncher.

Can we have a special thread for those that were saying six months ago that the fight was a joke because it was so much of a mismatch in Hatton's favour and are saying now that the fight would be a joke because it's so much of a mismatch in Pacquiao's favour?
