Corrie Sanders, Ross Purity, and Monte Barrett all either KO'd him or stopped him. He was knocked down and cut by Davaryll Wiliamson. I'll give you Monte Barrett because he defended that by beating Barrett, but he was also knocked down and cut against DaVarill Williamson. He's only underrated because he's fought like a pussycat ever since that period where he lost to Barrett, and Sanders, and was knocked down by Williamson and looked shaky there too. That was a serious period of uncertainty for him, and regardless of my lack of faith in most of Emmanuel Lewis's recent projects, he did stabilize his career by establishing Klitschko's current boring but extremely successful style. It's his boring style combined with the lack of talent at Heavyweight that makes him so underated. If he was blowing opposition away, he wouldn't be as disrespected as he is, it's as simple as that.

Let the haters hate, they'll miss him when he retires. Does anyone remember how disrespected Lewis was until he retired?

Lewis went after Rahman. Waldo fought him as cautious as a naked Paris Hilton hiding under a pile of clothes from an aroused Ike Ibeabuchhi in a locked cell.

You know a thread's over when it degenerates into the traditional 'nuthugger/hater' name calling.

He fought Corrie in 2003, not in the past 4 years.

People get down on the HW's alot for getting knocked out, but the thing is is that these guys are getting bigger and stronger and as cliche as it might sound; It just takes one punch.

BTW, Wlad is a different fighter now.

    Rahman went after Lewis.

    Some sense of humor.

We can really only look at their first fights. If Wlad fights Rahman again... then we can go back and look at what Wlad did in his second fight against Rahman, compared to what Lewis did in his second fight. Rematches are much different... the fighters already know each other, and can make gameplans according.

So, all we really have to go on is their first fights against Rahman Let's see, what happened in their first fight.....:think

No. If you want to be blind on purpose, then that's all YOU have to go on.

To those who know how to observe current events, it's the most recent bout that counts. There doesn't need to be a rematch.

...and WLAD should have known what to do to Rahman, from watching Toney work on this current version (never mind Lewis)...he already did the work.

All we have to go on is the first fights...???

Toney and Lewis have both dealt with Rahman in more impressive fashion than the champ WLAD.

...and WLAD was dealing with a RAhman that had already faced two great champions...he should have been ripe for the picking against WLad, but it still took him more than twice as long as it took Toney...and never mind how quickly a prepared Lewis got him out of there.

Who would want to see a rematch of that fight. Rahman couldn't reach him with a ten foot pole, had no stamina at all, and ate a lot of punches.

James Toney, who has a pair of balls, went after Rahman like nobody's business in the rematch. You'd think Waldo would have seen that **** and went right after him. I've seen equal caution during surgery, like Wlad exhibited. I wonder if when he fights, his ******* is clinched out of fear of an actual exchange.

It doesn't matter how long it took for him to take care of Rahman. He dominated him in that fight and it was never close. It's cherry picking to say that he should have gotten him out of there quicker because he dominated this fight steadily and then stopped him, while Lewis landed a vicious combination that caught Rahman in his tracks. And Toney definitely didn't deal with Rahman more impressively than Wlad. That can't be the case when Wlad KO'd Rahman and Toney stopped him essentially with a clash of heads. But I think the issue here is agressiveness, and Lewis and Toney were more aggressive, so that counts for something. I just think the Rahman fight is a bad example because Wlad dominated and stopped Rahman, despite fighting his cautious style which I despise. I find his fights to be boring, but it can't be said that he looked bad in this fight because he didn't.

Toney hit Rahman so hard, he flew across the ****ing ring. Because Toney has no fear of an actual exchange, unlike Waldo. :hi:

No, it was the right that Toney landed at the close of 3 that told Rahman not to get back in the fight.

...funny that he was willing and able to take eveything that WLAD had for him until he FINALLY got him out of there.
