I think the Mamba stops Campbell.

Pretty good matchup. Mayweather, I think was the bigger puncher, but Campbell a craftier fighter. My thinking is that Campbell is just a little too tricky for Mayweather, who would be unable to land enough right hands to take the day.

Mayweather is a guy who lost to slightly above average fighters like Rocky Lockridge and Tony Baltazar at 130 and Freddie Pendleton at 135. Campbell is a better fighter than these guys, and Mayweather never really ever had a signature win against a top guy near his prime.

Campbell is susceptible to power, but something tells me that the more mature version of the Galaxxy Warrior would find a way to win a close one.

Campbell UD, something like 7-5 or 8-4.

Don't read too much into those fights. I could easily hate on Pac by bringing up Torrecampo or Hopkins with Mitchell in his pro debut.

Except those fights were in the last few years and Campbell is now 35. Roger outboxes from the outside and disects Campbell imo.

So Campbell beats Diaz, and suddenly we forget about the rest of his career?

Prior to him beating Diaz, I guarantee you that NONE in this thread would be picking Campbell.

But Roger was different from Diaz. Nate couldnt swarm him like he did Diaz cause Mamba could punch, and also from the outside Mayweather was a better boxer than Campbell.

I'd take Roger by decision. Neither guy has much going for them in terms of consistency..but at their peaks, I'd favor Roger over 12 rounds. I figure he'd dominate from the outside with his better boxing ability. Campbell would have his moments on the inside and would certainly not be outclassed but not enough to get a decision.

That doesnt even compare...Campbell was either fighting for a title or in an eliminator in those fights and they were recent when his career was developed.

Nate is just way to inconsistent and Roger presents a much different stylistic challenge then Diaz, Zegan and Diamond..

Roger could be inconsistent himself but at his very best I give him the edge over Campbell relatively clearly.

Pendleton was a vastly underrated fighter with good power. And the Baltazar bout was one of the worst decisions i've ever seen-Mayweather outboxed Baltazar.
Mayweather is a better boxer then Campbell and hits harder.Mayweather tko8 Campbell or one sided decision.

Wow. I never said Campbell would win but you guys need to look at what he's done lately. He's a smarter fighter than he was since his losses to Peden. I would take Mayweather as well but they were both inconsistent in their careers.

Half of Campbell's losses are so close as to be impossible to declare a legitimate winner in them. Razor thing decisions.

As for losing to Peden, he dropped his god damned hands at the optimal range for a power punch and got KO'd. That proves what, beyond cocky idiocy?
